Description
The galaxy is yours, if you can conquer it.
One thousand sectors, twenty thousand stars, two hundred thousand planets awaits you in a galactic scale turn based strategy game.



Development started: 7/8/2014
This is an early build developed in just a month.

Core Ideas of the design:
  • Simple rules: Nobody likes overly complex games. Every features is designed so that the player don't need to micromanage every single citizen of his empire when he is selling and buying worlds.
  • For a complex galaxy: "Simple rules" don't stand for "simple game". Games like chess or Go don't need many rules to be complex and highly replayable games. Every rule must lead to intresting situations.
  • Nobody likes the same thing twice: Strategy games that present to the player the same gameplay for the whole game are not funny. Wars connot be the same thing every time, if at the start of the game i can hardly conquer an enemy planet, then at the end of the game i want be able to extinguish stars.
  • Multiple approach: I want to be able to interact in multiple ways with the game. You will be able to clean the stars from alien scums, or annex them.

Core Features
  • Planets connections aren't in the game, every ship can move towards his target if it's near enough.
  • Simple and deep combact system that allow the player to know what is going on all the time.
  • 4 stages of the game that prevent repetitive gameplay
    1. age of expansion: the player expand in the starting system and the near ones.
    2. age of empire: the player runs out of good locations and must interact with aliens.
    3. age of the galactic society: players can permanently become allies. From this moment the game will no loger be player vs player but galactic society vs galactic society. An inside diplomatic system allow player to use the galactic society for their own agenda, if they are powerfull enough.
    4. age of the last empire: every empire will start to get smaller instead of bigger, since worlds will run out of resources. in this age a lot of victory conditions could trigger.

About the designer
This game has been developed by a 18 years old Italian guy that is currently at the last year of high school. He studied computer programming, game design and everything else he needed for the game by himself. He is just 18 so there really isn't much left to say.
If he will ever earn money from this game he is planning to use them to pay university fees.
And be patient about misspelling, he tried really hard to write clear and understandable.

The concept is interesting but I would like to see some more gameplay videos and such that can show a bit more of what the final product may look like from a players perspective as soon as they sit infront of the ingame HUD and such.
