All those who play via Steam once it is Greenlit will receive a special +5HP +1Defense Steam Ring as well as a special Greenlit title and gold and experience bonus.

Further Details
Over 120 maps currently exist in the game, these range from sunny beaches to dank dungeons, from sultry forests to frozen mountain tops!

Players are free to level up through gathering resources, questing, fighting and crafting and can unlock new skills from level 21 on wards.

There are numerous cities in the game where players can often find specials quests, mailboxes to post items to friends / alts and player housing.

  • Oasis (Level 21) (housing nearby)
  • Smugglers Cove (level 55+)
  • Hasumachi (level 75+) (housing available)
  • Stormybrooke (level 150)
  • Asagarth (level 190+) (housing available)

Lands of Hope
This will technically be the third game in the Lands of Hope franchise with Forlorn Hope and Lands of Hope coming out in 2001 and 2005.

LoHR takes place in the same world as the first two games but is set thousands of years before events in Forlorn Hope and as such you do not need to have played either game to jump into this game.

Both Forlorn Hope and Lands of Hope were primarily text based games while LoHR allows you to take a leap into Myzan as a 2D world.

You can find a working Online version of the game, this is a similar experience to what would be the Steam version.

Stop the Madness - Game Releasing October 15th

Assuming the stars are in alignment the game will release on Steam on October 15th.

Thank you all for your support these past months and years without your assistance this would not have been possible.

I am currently in final preparations and have shared some CD Keys through our Lands of Hope Facebook group to a few lucky or I guess unlucky people.

Love the Land of Hope games! The original is up and I'm replaying it as I type this comment! I played this ages ago as a kid (probably shouldn't have been playing XD) and it left a huge impression on me in terms of my standards for online RPGs! The game is one of a kind, and the reboot isn't half bad itself! I can't wait for all the features and I support Decius 100%. You should upvote this, LoH is and will always be a great game with a great dev. The more people who play, the better it gets!

>>I dont hate you directly, I just hate Molynux like devs that over promise, over hype, and abandon as soon as something goes the slightest bit wrong.

You sir are nothing more than a troll. I spent 5+ years of my life working on Lands of Hope the Original game, I had numerous personal struggles through developing the game, losing my wife to cancer in 2008, the collapse of the economy but I kept going through it all. You have no clue what you are talking about, clearly do not know me and are just here to stir up trouble.

You stated that I brought a game back to make a quick buck .... it is clearly in your original comment. That is not the case at all .... none of these games have ever made me rich .... heck someone flipping burgers at McDonalds will probably smell much nicer than me and have made a lot more money than I have ever made from making these games. I do not do it for the money I do it because I enjoy it and I like creating games. Once again the original game did not close down because of a bug, none of my games have closed down because of a bug. The data that I used was not taken from the exact day of the hack, it was from a few days before. Neither is the source code being used now exactly the same a lot has had to be changed to get it back up and working.

I worked several hours this morning on both Redemption and LOH, answering questions and resolving minor bugs in both games. I don't know of many developers that work on a Sunday.

Well I never once said you where a "heartless money grabber" I stated the history of your projects. Do you have a guilty conscious of something? But I do thank you for your reply, for you have just confirmed everything I mentioned in my previous post.

You say your game was hacked which is why you took it down. However obviously there was 0 data loss as the game is now back online 4 years later in its entirety with its database still in tact. So you have just confirmed instead of fixing issues within your games you just trash them at the cost of your users.

Youve also now confirmed that you have no clue on how to scale your hosting needs based on your games population. Its either pay as much as possible or not at all.

I dont hate you directly, I just hate Molynux like devs that over promise, over hype, and abandon as soon as something goes the slightest bit wrong.
