New video: Multiplayer Adventures!
We have been Greenlit!
Release date: Late 2015

Ludoria is voxel based game, set in a procedural, randomly generated world. Ludoria world is full of Ludoroms (Monsters) that you can catch and use for your own benefit. You can control every single Ludorom in real time and use it to achieve hard tasks in the world.
Such as flying, digging, building, lighting at night, surfing, etc...

Each Ludorom has it's own skills and abilities. Some can help you surf on water, some can lighten up dark caves, and some can be used to dig and construct things.

The game is multiplayer, and anyone can host a dedicated server application and let your friends join your world.

The game will feature randomly generated villages, structures, and boss levels.

The Team:

EminentGames is a small indie video game studio currently composed of only two individuals. Ludoria is our first and biggest title to date!
Ludoria is still under heavy development, so expect things to change around : )

We believe in something called game integrity. That's when all the parts of the game connect strongly and seamlessly.
Of course, that is the hardest and longest way, but at the end, it is very well worth it.

The idea of the game was a childhood dream, to be able to catch monsters in a virtual vast 3d world, control them and fight in real time with others. Since no one has ever thought to turn such a formidable concept into reality, we did!

Engine Power:

When thinking about such a grandiose concept, the ideal path would be to start from scratch. And that's exactly what we did.
Building the engine that powers Ludoria was the most painful task we have ever encountered.
Since we are a team of two, the engine was mostly built by only one person.

The core engine is written using C++, keeping it highly portable for cross-platform purposes.
Using a ready made game engine is not an option for us, since it won't give us the freedom we want in making the game we visualize.

The game features a day/night cycle, different biomes, villages, dungeons, PVP, and more to come.

Game main features:

  • Smooth voxel world
  • Infinite/random generation
  • Different biomes, snow, canyon, forests, desert, oceans, lava...that affects Ludoroms spawning
  • Cross platform
  • Dedicated server application/ Multiplayer/ Coop
  • Day/night cycle that affects Ludoroms spawning
  • Skill tree/ Level system
  • Randomly generated villages with battle arenas and shops
  • Real time PVP and MVP

And a lot more to come!

This game seems pretty interesting. I hope it'll be on Steam someday. I'm a huuuuge Pokemon fan and I also like sandbox games. It's perfect.

Looks to be a highly ambitious project and is already shaping up to be a high quality product.

The developers actively engage with the community and are posting regular updates and development blogs.

This has certainly got my vote!

I found this game on the PCGamers group. I have to admit this game looks very promising, the art style is good and I like how you can tame Ludoroms and vs bosses. Can't wait to see what you guys add next.
