Bulkify-ing Growth Hormones and The Dastardly Draggers
  1. Growth Hormone Towers are usually best placed at the start of the path so the rest of the animal’s journey to the slaughterhouse can be dedicated to fattening them up with Corn Towers.
  2. Upgrading two Growth Hormone Towers to Level 2 on a single path can get animals near their max potential.
  3. Invest in Growth Hormone Tower upgrades early and often to unlock the ability to upgrade to a Level 3 Tower.

On to the Draggers…
Draggers come in pairs and provide a service to the farm as they will drag in any animal that collapses just shy of the Slaughterhouse so that the meat from them isn’t lost. During Gameplay, investing in Draggers early on can allow players to not worry as much about losing a few straggling animals. By upgrading the Dragger Crew their effectiveness increases.

Gameplay Pro Power Tips: Security Guards

  1. Draggers can each pull in a chicken at Level 1, but need to work as a team to bring in a Pig or a Cow.
  2. Upgrading Draggers will increase their range by giving them forklift vehicles allowing them to more quickly haul in dead/dying animals. Each Dragger will get a vehicle allowing them to collect multiple animals per trip.
  3. You can purchase Draggers before the first wave begins and only have to worry about getting the animals near the slaughterhouse. Once you have them, subsequent animal pens and paths that you are monitoring will gain the benefits as well.

Tainted Water and Insecurity Guards
  1. Build plenty of these towers along each path; they are the cheapest tower in the game, but one of the most necessary.
  2. Be mindful of naturally occurring water in the level. Any rivers that are crossed will hydrate the animals as they pass through them. Because of this, don’t bother putting a Water tower just before or just after a river crossing.
  3. The water towers have a short range as default, upgrading them to level 2 at minimum is highly recommended.

On to the Security Guards...

Security Guards are a mainstay in the game once Protesters start showing up to protest your farm. Protesters will shut down towers and hurt your profits overall. You can hire Security Guards to run them off and ensure the towers you invested in stay online and fully powered.

Gameplay Pro Power Tips: Security Guards

  1. Watch and listen for Protesters to run out from the larger protest group and onto the farm. If you don’t tune into their “tell” sound or visual cues then you could miss them and have a tower shut down.
  2. You can upgrade your Security Guards to increase their sight range, but also equip them with a shotgun. The shotgun adds an intimidation factor, but is also very useful when Protesters start sending out flying drones to disable your towers.
  3. If you have a spare 15 MurderBux lying around while playing, consider investing in protection for your highest upgraded and most expensive towers. This will prevent being caught “off-guard” and having them go offline later.

Description
Release date: FALL 2014
Fatten up the herds and rake in the cash with Fat Chicken - a tower defense offense game where you fatten up farm animals for slaughter by pumping them full of hormones, overfeeding them and basting them with antibiotics to keep them alive so they're worth more when you turn 'em into tasty, tasty packaged meat...it's what's for dinner!

Build a factory farm armed to the udders with towers that provide feed, water, growth hormones and antibiotics to the oncoming herds of farm animals. Upgrade your towers to boost their efficiency and don't forget to fend off pesky protesters with your well-armed force of rent-a-cops! Heck, you may even need to ward off a UFO or two!

  • A fresh take on tower defense - The goal is to not kill the creeps - players must stuff incoming waves of livestock with corn, growth hormones and antibiotics and grow them to epic proportions as they march to their doom at the slaughterhouse.
  • Build your farm and staff up with hired hands to meet your Meat Quotas. Strategic Tower Defense gameplay has never been so "udderly awesome!"
  • Huge Campaign - Work your way across the U.S. hitting 13 different locations and 26 challenging levels on your quest to climb the ranks and overthrow the Fat Chicken Meat Co.
  • Put your R&D department to work - Complete missions to unlock new equipment and tasty upgrades for your farm.
  • Hire farm hands and "heroes" to herd, help and heal your livestock, all in the name of faster production and more meat for the market.
  • Full Music Soundtrack - 17 original tracks from award winning composer Jason Graves, fresh off his success with the latest Tomb Raider reboot and the Dead Space series.
  • Get an inside look at the insidious world of Factory Farming, where everything is not as "Old MacDonald" as it seems!
