Inevitability is launched on Steam
We have been greenlit!
Release date: Soon as its greenlit
It is inevitable that man will one day live amongthe stars
Inevitability is a unique top down space game. In Inevitability you have a universe to explore and to create and empire in. Mine minerals and create ship parts to dynamically build your very own starships and stations with over 50 different unique parts! Once you do this the universe is your sandbox to expand your influence, spreading love or fear wherever you decide to set up shop.

If purchased now a steam key will be provided to you when greenlit!

~~ Game will cost 5$ on all PC platforms~~

  • Dynamically build ships and stations from a selection of over 50 different unique parts
  • in depth ship simulation from fuel and power consumption to life support and cargo bays
  • Lively universe with comets whizzing by, random trade ships and of course space pirates!
  • Dynamically destroy planets block by block
  • Beautiful custom soundtrack by a musical genius

  • Extent of randomness
The Universe is almost completely random. Each system has a hostility rating for how likely pirates are to be there. It has a random set of ships and stations that it picks from to populate each system(depending on hostility). Each system has each has a random amount of planets/comets which come in a collection of colors (purple suns look really cool ;) ). Each planet has different amounts of minerals and can vary greatly in radius. There are rare planets that even have different cores made of rarer gems.

  • Combat
Combat works with three different kinds of weapons. Normal lasers, Tracking lasers/missiles, and turrets. Normal lasers work as they just fly forward until they travel too far or hit something. Tracking lasers work the same except they will try to seek out and hit the hostile ship instead of just going straight. Turrets are heavy parts that automatically shoot nearby hostile ships and aim independently from your ship. Turrets are mainly used on large ships and stations.

  • Economy / Obtaining Parts
Parts can be obtained in a couple of ways. Firstly you can craft them from minerals minded while on planets with your ships probe (this can only be done at stations). You can also fight ships to steal their stores of parts and minerals or simply shoot off the ones you want from their ship (be careful not to damage the one you want however just disconnect it from the core. Be careful the enemy can steal parts and destroy parts of your ships and stations as well!!! Lastly you can get money by selling minerals and parts obtain via the prior two methods this money can then be used to buy parts from stations. Each station has different parts at different times so check them often for one you want!!

  • Planet mining
Every planet in the game can be harvested for minerals. It works on a block system where you can use your probe to drill or shoot into the planet and the parts will fly off where you probe can then store them in your orbiting ship! As stated before each planet has a core most planets have metal cores but some may have a treasure trove of rare gems for you to harvest!

  • Building your empire!
Once you have your vast collection of parts its time to get a fleet! Ships are build block by block and require a life-support, a engine, a fuel tank and a power source besides that build whatever you desire however weird or cool. You can also build stations block by block and deploy them to a planet in the system your currently in. This gives you a place where you can feel safe in that system and to store more parts! Change between already built ships in your fleet anytime at a friendly station and upgrade them or salavge parts.

@i <3 dubstep I cannot gift you the game but you can use the 20% off coupon that I have sent you if you wish to buy it. Also most likely you lost your power/engines after you were shot and that’s why the ship died! you can self-destruct with P or if there is a nearby station press B to go to the station and make new parts for your ship! However I see how this can be confusing so I will make it so there is a message saying that your ship is inoperable in version 1.2(coming fridayish). If you have another concern/question please email
