When will the game be released?
This is a hard question to answer at this given moment in time as we are still in development. However, we want to try and get it done as soon as possible, hopefully within 6 months. However, until we get closer to completing the development process, we are unable to give an exact date.

How far are you into development?
Development is roughly 70-75% complete, and are working hard to get the rest complete, before fixing bugs and optimising the game.

How long with the game length be?
We are aiming for 4-5 hours in game length, hopefully this can increase, but we don’t want to add things for the sake of it. We want to try and craft a game that will stay in your memory for a long time.

What price will the game be?
The price of the game is still undetermined, but we think we can get everything complete and then sell the game for roughly 6-7 tops.

How different is the pre-alpha to the final game?
Substantially - The pre-alpha was a massively cut down version of the ‘first’ area in game.
Most, if not all puzzle, AI and story voice overs along with a lot more. This was done so everyone could get a feel for the atmosphere and some key mechanics of the game.
As the description says, there are a number of different areas to explore (caves, forests etc.), some may even take an hour or so to complete. Please note, that the demo had little or no optimisation, so this will also vastly improve.

How does weapons work in this horror game?
We understand that guns can ruin a horror game. After all, it is the feeling of venerability that drives a horror game. So, you can think of this game in more in line with Resident Evil 1; ammo will be limited, so save your bullets!

This looks like Amnesia. Is it?
We love the game amnisiea. We are honored that this game is mentioned in the same sentence as Amnesia. However, there are several reasons why Kidanpped is different, here's a few. The main difference that Kidanpped features weapon mechanics and is not all avout hiding / invading. Kidnapped also has a psychological appriach to its game design, and naturally, the story is completely different. We hope to tell it in a way that resonates with players like gone home or dear esther did.

Will there be a Kick-starter campaign?
We have nothing against Kick-starter, nor people who have one, its just we believe we should try and complete everything using our own money. If people like the game, they can purchase it; not purchase it before it’s even out. We are not saying we may never have a Kick starter campaign, its just, at this given moment in time, we have funds to keep going on our own.

How many translations will there be?
We are aware that there are many people who want translations into their language, and we will do everything we can to get as many translations into the game as possible.

Will this game be on consoles too?
Possibly. We are in discussions to port the game onto PlayStation and Xbox. More information will be announced as we get it.

Will there be oculus rift support?
We are leaning on the side of yes. We have looked into this, and think it should be very possible to take the game and develop it for the rift. More information will be announced as we get it.

Waking up cold and alone, you've been 'Kidnapped'. Traverse through a terrifying two hundred year old manor, dark damp caves, an eerie forest full of wildlife and more. Looks to be very solid, with inspiration from the famous Amnesia. The interactibilty enhances/enriches the gameplay. Hope this releases with haste.
