Skyrim Overhaul - Beginners Mod List
By Mattimat
This guide aims to help you get started installing and using mods. It contains every mod that I use myself with detailed videos, pictures, and links.

Update: This guide is outdated. Some mods may no longer be available or supported. Please do not add me if you need help with installing mods as I do not have the time. Thank you.

Before Downloading Mods
Before you can start downloading mods, you will need Nexus Mod Manager, this is where you will
download, install, update, and manage your files. It's very easy to use and will save you a lot of time.

http://www.nexusmods.com/games/mods/modmanager/?

I would recommend having a look at this youtube video on how to install and use the manager.

Body mods
Armor & Clothing
Now that you have installed the body mod, is it time to have a look at some armor and clothing that you can use.
Note: Not every armor or clothing mod is compatible with certain body mods, make sure to always read the description and the requirements of each mod. Every mod listed here is compatible with the Calientes Female Body mod (CBBE)

Weapon Mods
Now me personally don't use many weapon mods, but here is a few:

Graphic mods
Now it's time to install a graphical mod, this is a bit more complicated but there is a video below from the same dude that showed you how to install and use the Mod manager. Don't worry, follow the easy steps and you will be done in no time! DO NOT download with manager but choose download manually! Note: You will need Winrar to download mods manually
www.winrar.com

1. Just unpack to the Skyrim directory (where the launcher is) [Open the file and click extract to]
Steam/Steamapps/Common/Skyrim
2. Download the d3d9.dll from http://www.enbdev.com/mod_tesskyrim_v0102.html
Just download the file by clicking the downwards facing arrow in the box.
Then take the d3d9.dll from the downloaded file and also place it in your skyrim directory.
3. Launch Skyrim from the Skyrim folder (click on SkyrimLauncher.exe or Skyrimlauncher)
4.Activate all esps that come with the mod.
(When launching skyrim go to Data files and click the check boxes on all the esps. files!)

You will know the mod is installed if there are bunch of information in the top left corner when launching the game.

Again i highly recommend watching the video so you are certain you do everything correctly.

Here is some other mods that you might be interested in checking out:

Yes. Always check the description for each mod to see if you need another mod for it to run.
