Nefarious Dimensions is an Independent Game Studio currently working on Planetary Prospectors A.R.M. (Asteroid Resource Mining).

In the year 2068 CE, 95% of Earth's population was eradicated by an iron ore based asteroid. The remaining 5% of the population was hiding in deep underground bases, or on S-142 the mining colony on Mars.

It's now the year 2246 CE, a time of Peace and Prosperity, humans have reached a pinnacle in time, achieving vast technological abundance. The 'gold rush' in space has begun! Mega Mining Corporations and many independent prospectors have entered the race to collect the most minerals and become the wealthiest miners in the galaxy.

You have been given the opportunity to mine asteroids within an infinite procedurally generated universe that contains meteor showers, space stations, mining refineries and much more to be discovered.

Purchase and upgrade a wide variety of spaceships and equipment. Use the right tools at the right time on many different kinds of surfaces to more effectively recover gems and minerals. Plan, strategize and prioritize which asteroids to mine and manage limited fuel and cargo space. Get too greedy and you can get stuck in deep space with no fuel! But manage your resources wisely and you could be rolling in spacebucks…

In-game Art is not final and is only Alpha, the graphics will only get better, our main focus has been made to make space mining fun and compelling.

Theme: Space "Western" Miners

Genre: Space exploration, Survival Adventure, Flight Simulation

Mood: Creepy, Dark humor, Suspenseful with comic relief

Cameras: FPS Cockpit / 3D person Arcade Asteroid Mining (1st person cockpit supported with Oculus Rift)

-Limitless, Procedurally Generated Universe
-Near-Realistic Newtonian physics simulations
-Use the proper tools on the different surface types (snow, Ice, alloys, metals, sedimentary, igneous, metamorphic rocks)
-Trade minerals, gems and crystals such as (bronze, silver, gold, emerald, ruby, sapphire, diamond) for repairs, upgrades and purchase new tools and spacecrafts
-Post Highscores online to see who is the wealthiest miner in the galaxy
-Purchase and upgrade near/far-range scanners, to strategize mining of certain specific asteroids
-Puzzle mode, race against time and use the proper tools to gain the most minerals
-Enable shields, while navigating through a meteor shower, and block chunks of broken off asteroids
-Call a nearby "Merchant Ship" to bring fuel, in case the player is left stranded in middle of deep space.
-Arcade style controls to be built around dual analog sticks (currently Xbox 360 wired controller and mouse/keyboard supported )

-Oculus Rift support
-Different storylines, and "Choose Your Own Adventure Style" dialogs
-Uncover the ancient mysterious of alien Xenoarchaeology, buried deep inside some asteroids.
-Crew can join the journey, or take them to destinations for extra credit$
-Compete or co-operate with a friend online
-Collect materials, and craft your own spacecrafts or other structures
-Persistent Death, when the character dies, or gets "too old" that character is lost.
-Choose to equip extra thrusters to increase speed and maneuverability in replace of equipped tools.
-Evade "Space Pirates" and other rogue miners that may try to steal from your horde, or even worst.
-Careful where the player mines, as claimed territory can result in a warrant issued from the "Space Police"
-Crafting spaceships, space stations and building planets by terraforming them.

The "Gold Rush" in space has begun, corporations and many independent prospectors have entered into the space rush to collect the most minerals to become the wealthiest Space Miner in the Universe. The player is then given the opportunity to mine asteroids within an infinite procedurally generated universe. That also contains meteor showers, space stations, mining refineries...

Upgrade, purchase, and edit the many types of spaceships. Acquire the many tools such as
Drills, Plasma Torch, Jackhammers, Grinders, Proton Beam, ION Cannons, Particle Beams, Magnetron, Flamer Thrower, Arc Lightning Torch, Tectonic Beam, Acid Gun and Mining Explosives...

When enough credits are refined, the player is able purchase better and larger cargo-ships that can carry larger loads and allow further travel. Then eventually build-up a space mining empire and a chance to build a Mega Mining Corporation.

Puzzle Mode (Destroy as many asteroids as possible and collect minerals to purchase more fuel, before the tank becomes empty)

Choose to use the proper tools at the correct time on various types of surfaces to more effectively recover gems and minerals in less time. Carefully plan and strategize then prioritize between which asteroids to mine, and how to manage how much fuel and cargo space remains. Be careful not to get too greedy and get stuck in deep space with no fuel, no signal, and no help as it will cost a hefty penalty to call in a "space tow-truck".

Although the main focus of ARM is mining and not combat. A suspension of disbelief and suspense of other "entities" and Pirates that will try to steal your precious "booty". The main goal of ARM is to become the most wealthiest Miner in the Universe. As Players can post their scores online, or join a server with other mining friends. Work together or compete against each other, to make the most money.

MAJOR UPDATE, we made many improvements with the Camera, Controls and a new exo-mech mining suit, now supporting a cockpit with HMD VR supported HUD, or simulated for regular monitors.

We have made so many improvements, from upgrading from the previous Unity 4.3, that is 32-bit, to Unity 5 that is 64-bit. Expect to see Planetary Prospectors:ARM this Summer on Early Access.
