StarForce: 2193 is an online turn-based strategy card-game for 2 to 5 players.

Playing as one of 5 different factions, each with different goals, you may defend helpless alien civilizations, or exploit them for their planets' natural resources. Play with others who are online, or arrange a game with your friends.

Atakcia and Earth have been in peaceful co-existence for many decades, ever since the alien race visited our planet. But now, the Atakcian Mining Consortium has adopted a dreadfully in-humane business practice, which is endangering the civilizations of many innocent worlds. Earth, and its space-exploring organization, Star Force Command, are outraged, and have decided to put an end to this travesty of capitalism, whatever the cost.

Will Earth and Atakcia end up at war? Will the Mining Consortium bow to diplomatic pressure? Will the earth corporation, ExoFaun, Inc. decide to stop providing the scientific resources that enables the Consortium to continue their exploitation?

The outcome, and the fate of many worlds, is up to you.

I hope so, that would be cool!
It should work in any Mozilla or any Webkit-based browser.

Seems really cool, Signed up on the site too...looks really fun, since it's browser based, maybe it will work from Tablet browsers as well?
To: [9D9C3D]o.O;;
-- it is a browser game. Steam will be a secondary method of distribution. I have packaged it into a windows executable only for Steam, but it will always be on the web, too. As for micropayments, right now it's in FREE BETA [] , but after the beta-testing's done, the subscription prices will be small enough to be considered a micropayment by paypal's definition.
To: NIPCF
-- Thank you! :-)
To: Dragonfyre
-- Thank you very much for the suggestions. I'm not good at presentations, but I'll give it a try! (And maybe coerce my artist friend into helping.) :-)

As oldschool as my current PC.

The card game idea sounds really neat, but this presentation could use some work. I appreciate that card games are detail-heavy in text, but no one's gonna read that unless they're interested in the game to begin with. You can't really see anything in the video either, at least not in normal windowed mode on steam, which I'd assume is how most people are viewing this. Maybe add a voiceover or some music? Maybe just an animated powerpoint kind of demo if there's not any art yet? Tell us something about the story or the different factions?

Oh how I love the space strategy! Looks very fresh and convincing!
