You find a journal lying on the ground
Your childhood friend Merl McPenrite has dropped off the grid without notice. Reports indicate that this is a fate he shares with countless others. His last vidMail recording indicated that he had come across something that you would find extremely interesting. It seemed urgent and you have not heard from him since...

Set in the near future where virtual reality has become the ultimate escape to the dreariness and suffering of everyday life in a collapsing society you will use your wits, computer skills, and hacking ability to discover the mystery behind the recent disappearances. This investigation leads you to infiltrate his last known location where you become entangled in a conspiracy that spans both virtual and physical realities. Do you have what it takes to find your friend and help him before it is to late?

The initial concept of this game was created by a published author in the hacking world. Many of the skills that you pick up while attempting to track down your friend will be usable in the real world (on systems you have permission to use them on.. of course...) Have fun playing the game and walk away with some actual real life skills!

I know people are making fun of this offsite calling it Merl McPenis but keep your head up. The educational version has a lot to our youngsters. The LGBT themes will also help open some minds. Godspeed!

Looks nice. Not sure about the "virtual reality" mode though.

I'll buy it the same, but I deeply hope it could be greenlit, for its own sake.

Looks like it might be interesting. I give it the thumbs up for now. Looking forward to what comes out when it's fully released.
