multiple languages for Ward : Nex Rising
Release date: End of 2015
Ward:nex Rising
Ward is a side scrolling, 2D, beat'em up, brawler style, game inspired by games like Streets of Rage, Final Fight, and BattleToads.

Ward is still early in development ,and we will be releasing a demo sometime in the fall of 2014.

Get The Story
Stone City ,the home of the James Ward Orphanage. Throughout the years, the city has fallen into crime and corruption causing the orphanage to fall apart and shutdown. Several years after leaving the orphanage, 4 friends return to their childhood home only to find the orphanage rundown with the rest of the city.

Nex, a ruthless crime lord, has his grip on the city. He controls the government and its gangs. Nex came to Stone City with a purpose and he will stop at nothing to see his plans successful, regardless of the innocent lives he has to take.

Adam, Michael, Christy, and Franco must come together and fight to save their home and the ones they love.

Game Play Breakdown & What you Can Expect

Play as one of four characters in this 1-4 player co-op brawler.
In "Ward: Nex Rising" you will be cruising through the streets with nothing but your fists and what you find in the environment to take down the bad guys.

Ward is heavily inspired by the classic, gritty, beat-em up, titles like Street of Rage, Double Dragon, Final Fight, Battle Toads and more.

Much like the classics, you will go from stage to stage beating up goons and gang members and can always look forward to a great boss fight at the end of each stage.

Weapons and destructible environments will ensure the fights never get boring , but that's not all. Ward will require you to make some choices along the way that will ultimately determine what ending you get once the game is completed. Choices like alternate routes throughout the game even decide weather someone lives or dies. The game will also feature a stage select map so that the player can revisit previous stages or take the path less traveled once completed.

Each character will have their own unique moves and play style. Weather you like to strike your opponent with some jabs and combos or you like to get up close and personal with some grabs and slams, you will be able to find a character you love to play over and over again.

Ward will also have a very easy control system , much like the fighters on the Sega Genesis. You will have an attack button, jump button, special attack button, and an Item pickup button. The controls will have some depth to them as well. For instance, pressing two buttons at one time to perform a certain action, such as a backwards attacks, throwing an enemy or object, and much more. We do not want to spoil everything.

More On Controls
Users will be able to customize their controls to their liking on the following:
