Report a translation problem
The waiting is because of the AI, they get the "get out" order and then a move order and the AI needs a couple of seconds (or even a fucking minute at times) to get everything in order and thats syncronised with it, so thats why you have to wait in theory, but what I liked to do is get in the air and provide cover fire for the troops on the ground with the gunners and not get shot with an rpg.
And the random village is pretty close to the airfield, its basicly, go to the LZ, get your men out, get the fuck out of the heat, like a Vietnam dropoff.
Check out my other scenario with the mod, I worked more on that one and with some better special effects with it and stuff :)
Enemy AA like the Tigris is highly accurate and has way too much firepower for a transport helicopter to counter.
