Kickstarter is live!
Release date: Fall 2015
Maestro Interactive Games is an independent game studio working on our next project, a 2.5D Platformer; Luna's Tale: Curse of the Forgotten Doll.

Imagine taking a hand-painted world and turning it into an amazing side-scrolling platforming adventure. Luna's Tale delivers a mixture of adventure, storytelling, and platforming from games we know and love like Donkey Kong Country and Yoshi's Island Super Mario World 2, but with a completely fresh feel for today’s gamer.

Luna's Tale: Curse of the Forgotten Doll is a unique take on the classic 2.5D platforming game filled with challenging levels, hidden surprises, tons of unique enemies and audio to inspire you to explore the world around you.

Begin getting ready to experience:
•Beautiful hand-painted environments
•Engaging musical score to accompany you on your journey
•Entertaining cast of characters that truly bring the world to life
•Five unique worlds with their own enemies and environmental themes

I gave your project a yes vote because I like the art and animation you've shown in this early footage. You seem to have shown some bits that were being controlled in real time and I wish you all the best of luck in actually getting this game finished for people to play.

I'm the type of person who needs a demo before committing to support or purchase a game. Give me something hands-on, and I'll make a decision.

Very sad to hear that your Kickstarter campaign fell through. I do hope that you find other areas of funding. Also, while some have criticized what they've seen of the game as being too simple and/or easy - particularly with regards to the boss battles - I highly doubt the intended audience for Luna's Tale is the same as games like Arkham Asylum, Bioshock, DotA or Halo. ^_^ I personally love the animation-style used - and how Luna runs - as well as the music. Really love the music! Anyhoo...

I like the tom & jerry cartoon kind of style

Sounds like a possibility. It would give potential supporters a slightly better idea of what you're trying to create, wouldn't it?
