Description
Don't rush! New zombies only spawn when you go forward the map and they do increased damage. You can always retreat and regroup. No revive. It is meant for slow tactical movement through maps. In this mutation I've tried to replicate Alien Swarm gameplay. However it's not perfect yet, and probably will get updates.

It is best to use Silent Mega Mob addon with this mutation.

The hardest campaign with this mutation so far is "No Mercy".

I'd like to disable this "zombie howl" sound when a horde \ mob is spawned(it's called Panic Event), but I can't find how to do it. If somebody knows a cvar or setting for disabling this howl, please let me know in comments. I've currently done this Silent Mega Mob addon.

I hope that some dedicated servers will have this mutation installed.

Usually in Alien Swarm, being especially fast is the key to a success. :P
just sayin.
It's still a (literaly) nice change of pace ^^

You could make a blank sound file in your vpk at sound/npc/mega_mob/mega_mob_incoming.wav -- that's the file you'd replace to make a alternate horde alert too.

https://forums.alliedmods.net/showthread.php?p=1355498 is a sourcemod plugin that disables the alert sound at the server level, too.
