Dungeon Gameplay
Release date: Mid-Late 2015
In Courier, you embark on a deep RPG adventure as a mail carrier instead of a warrior in a rich world full of people, puzzles, and obstacles.

You will explore a rich, fantasy world as you experience a deep story, explore dungeons, help townspeople, and avoid obstacles. But you play as a mail-carrier instead of a warrior. The focus is on the expansive world and the experiences within instead of endless combat, random battles, and bloodshed. You will traverse wide stretches of land, visit towns, navigate dangerous dungeons, and solve many puzzles. However, you won't complete this task with a sword, but something mightier. And not fire spells, either.

Gameplay is based around helping townspeople, making deliveries, solving puzzles, avoiding hazards and obstacles, exploring dungeons and the land, and unraveling an intricate plot. You'll encounter townsfolk, thieves, scientists, wizards, heroes, spirits, royalty, allies, and foes as you gain access to more and more of the landscape. Each town is detailed and filled with people looking for help. Some of these people will lead you to important information that leads you to new places and uncovers more of the plot.

You'll have traditional dungeons to explore, but they aren't filled with battles in the traditional sense. You'll be avoiding environmental hazards, solving puzzles, and avoiding damage from key enemy-type encounters. To aid you, you'll gain a short-jump ability, shielding capabilities, deflection abilities, and other power-ups as you progress. These abilities will be used to gain access to new locations in the world, while others are opened through plot events.

The world of Courier also has mini-games, diversions, and other activities for you to enjoy. Each town has a quick-delivery game to see how fast you can drop off mail to every mailbox in town. Other times, you can have targeting, dodging, matching, and more types of games throughout. The town time trials, in particular, will have gameplay rewards and in-game money rewards for fast completion times.

Add a character choice and i'd buy it
Thanks for the reply. I can certainly understand how adding workshop support could be difficult. All in all I'm very much looking forward to playing this game and I'm rooting for it to get greenlit!

It would be fun to have a workshop component, but I already hand-craft the levels and manually do the lighting and shading. I'm not sure I could make a good enough interface for users to make something meaningful. But I see nothing wrong with free post-launch dlc to keep it going...
This game is a dream come true. Is workshop support being considered? The mere thought of this game having an ending is devistating. Possibly the ability to create and share dungeons, puzzles and tasks?
