Synthetic World: Mac version
New Landmarks
Release date: 12. September 2014
Welcome to StaudSoft's Synthetic World 0.2! This is the first commercial release of my Open World Sandbox Game. It allows you via a seed to create a unique landscape with mountains, oceans, trees and beaches. Although it looks like a normal game engine, everything in the game is based on voxels. So everything you see can be changed. You can cut down trees, build a house or dig into the ground!

Yes you can use your own textures. The texture file is simply a jpg or png in case of the plants which contains several textures. The only thing which is important that you add a small tile border (I think 32 pixels wide around every texture). This is due to the mipmapping. If there wouldn't be a border around the texture the textures will bleed into each other.

You can also add additional textures to the main game via modding (a tutorial is planned).

For the spheres: Version 1.2.x will only support blocks. This will change in version 1.3 with support for ramps and cylinders (already works but it needs to be tuned). Later additional shapes will follow.

Ok, the basic steps to build advanced things is to get experience points, then to invest in the technology level in the character menu. Then to craft a 3D printer and us it to create advanced things. G

Generally you can craft things with the Construction Set, with the Table and with the 3D Printer.

And you also need to improve your resource collecting ability to collect rare resources.

Or use the cheats:

The important entities are:
Voxel_Electronic_Button, Voxel_Electronic_LED, Voxel_Electronic_Nand, Voxel_Electronic_Not, Voxel_Electronic_Switch, Voxel_Electronic_Wooden_Door

And for the wire: Electronic_Wire
The dynamite: Voxel_Explosive

The game looks very promising. I purchased it in a multi pack on indi royale. However how do you create wires, dynamite, and the other advanced things.

Got this on Royale, it's very good. Worth the entire pack just to get Synthetic World.
