Description
Release date: Fall 2014 - With Greenlight Approval!
Chomp your way to the bottom of the ocean in this eat-em-up adventure. Don't let the untasty robots stop you. Evolve and crunch them up, along with anything else in your path! The world is your oyster, so eat it already!
Far in the future, a catastrophic war between organics and machines has concluded with the end of all organic life. Yet, their victory has left the machines hollow and empty, and curious about their creators. Some, in secret, have succeeded in recreating life within a tiny acquatic eden. But life is not so easily controlled - and soon, one species begins to mutate rapidly...
Unnatural Selection features a world of constant change and growth, with you at the helm. Will you hunt down your enemies and eat them, becoming a pure carnivore? Will you lock down your own personal corner of the map to eat plant matter, becoming an bulky herbivore? Or will you take a more balanced approach, as an unpredictable omnivore?

GAMEPLAY MODES:
Gameplay modes are numerous, including a standard campaign mode, a cooperative campaign mode dubbed "symbiosis" mode, and real-time multiplayer modes in which you can compete with other species directly controlled by your friends. Don't be afraid to eat your friends, they'll understand that your hunger is your first priority!

EVOLUTION:
A total of 13 unique evolutions are planned so far (with more possibly in the future). Each form has its own unique primary and secondary attack, with an additional ultimate ability for the 9 final forms. All players start as a larva at the beginning of a level, and evolve along an evolutionary path dictated by their diet. Carnivores become faster and gain burst damage, while herbivores become tankier and gain sustained DPS. Omnivores retain some of both qualities. These playstyles will neatly slot players into respective roles in online team play, where some players remain to guard the nest and others venture afield to attack the enemy nest.

Greetings Afaro, I am really happy to see that you kept up with us! It means a lot, (I smell an in-game tribute coming your way).
Let me clear a few things here.

We are chizzling away at getting Multiplayer up-and-running, as well as doing the pipeline link for our game to work in tandem with Steam. Lots of UI stuff.

I took some leave from cinematic project, to adopt a few new skills that have been popularized for AAA games, (This is good news, we now have better graphics that will run smoother).

That is reason for the delay with the cinematic. (Which I have now pushed back about 3-4 months till we have other systems in play).

We are a greenlit game! Myself and Randal are attacking this project with everything we got for the 2015 year, the game will be released this year. with a cool cinematic too!

Hey Afaro, we are getting a steady amount of votes each day while putting polish on the game.

We are cooking up SOMETHING BIG, as much as we wanted to have the game ready before 2015, it seems as if we need a bit more time. The good news is, we now have added an animator, and vfx artist on board, along with my 3D art skills have come a lot further since the original footage of this game was recorded.

February 5th, we will unveil a cinematic trailer for Unnatural Selection 2.0, we have a big marketing plan in play and I have no doubt in my mind that it will solidify our position as the masters of the ocean depths. We will get votes, notoriety, perhaps even funding if we go that route.

Ladies and gentlemen there are 4 talented individuals in a huge crunch night and day on this game until it gets seen with immaculate results. for some WIPS visit http://3dkron.imgur.com/all/

Stay tuned, February 5th.....Unnatural Selection 2.0 and the Real Game Trailer. (You are not prepared).

I was thinking of a mutation sorta thing.
Heavyarm$  [author] Oct 7, 2014 @ 11:43pm
Thanks Blurgo! You sure can make a custom fish using our Pimp-A-Fish utility in-game.
We welcome any thoughts or ideas, so to elaborate on what a custom fish is....
Were you thinking a more mutanus, aquatic, deep sea, insect-like mutation?
Or were you thinking custom like, Armor, gear, hard-surface external pieces,
OR were you thinking "I want this fish to have a mustache".
Let us know, I want to help see your visions come to life (and then get eaten).
Lennynati Sep 27, 2014 @ 12:50pm
If you can make a custom fish,I will buy this game in a heartbeat.
