ePic Character Generator is one year old!
Description
Release date: 07/03/2014
To download the program visit our website: http://www.epicgenerator.net

What is this program?

The program is an excellent tool to anyone who wants realistic character portraits in no time. You can simply choose what items to display on the base character, save your image with a static or transparent background and use it for anything you would like to.

Where is the demo?

As the program is already released and available for download on our website, you can give it a try without waiting to be available on Steam. It comes with a free demo package to demonstrate the features of this tool, so you can test it without purchasing anything. If we get accepted to Steam, all your packages will be available in the Steam version as well.

Why we've posted the program on Steam Greenlight?

We're just one coder and two artists, and don't have the resources to spread the word wide enough so everyone who might find this tool useful would hear about us. As people have supported us on our IndieGoGo campaign and provided feedback after the release, we believe there is a need for a product like this. With your support we can help even more developers to produce high quality games, or give the tool of illustration to role players.

How would you find this program useful?

The program is mainly used by roleplayers who would like to illustrate their player and non-player characters, but don't have the resources to create or buy many uniqe characters that fit their needs. The option to save the images as tokens even reduces the work needs to be taken to use the pictures for real.

Utilizing the program as an indie game developer unlocks the possibilities of endless character stream in our users products as well. They are often used for character portraits and to display visually appealing friend and enemy units. With very little effort, complete gamescenes can be created.

The generated images are a good source for writers to illustrate their characters, for artists, who compose them in completely unique environment, for designers to represent the characteristics of their ideas, just to mention a couple of good examples where the program is being used.

Will there be more?

We are continously working on improving the program and adding new features. Your feedback or ideas would help a lot to drive the program in a direction more people would love. Along with the program, various graphical assets are being made. Some will be added to the existing packages, but new characters, and other visual styles are in the spotlight as well. We would love to create a platform where every genre can find its own style.

We've been moving the site to another provider due to heavy loads. It should be available by now.

Website is busted. The forums don't allow new registrations, and there is no other way to contact or purchase... Did these guys go belly up? Too bad. It looked like it would have been worth purchasing.
