Pretty good test. While it's a little confusing to see what needs to be done, I found that just finding a switch and then finding the way to activate it got me through the test.

Quite a lot of exploring about to see what I could see and then having those lightbulb moments and moving on to the next.

Although the way I was doing it, I rearly saw what I achieved (e.g. killing the turrets), only the aftermath (e.g. open door or no turrets).

But I enjoyed working through your thought process of;
"I have a laser here"
"I have a switch there"
"where do I direct the laser to activate it..."
"Ahh, there's the portable surface"

Although I was confused for a moment when one of the spheres jumped out of it's switch (the very last one too). But I just had to re-activate the switch to restore it to it's proper place.

Hmm you're right Death - what can I say - Mondays. :)

Anyway the map is moderate to challenging depending on you skill Myke. I think the feedback confirms I've hit that mark.

It's maxed on elements so more signage is not an option but everything that is really necessary is in there I think. I've worked hard based on feedback to ensure this. I don't want to make the player's experience one of frustration in not knowing what the puzzle is or not being able to execute its answer.

As for you enjoyment sorry it's not to your liking - thanks for playing. Keep testing.

cheers.

Stunt this is an intro map and not meant to be difficult. It's there to build confidence in newer players and wet the appetite for the full version.

The full version is in the link above as is said in the description

It is not an challenging map. The only difficulty is to guess what the mechanism without signalisation does and is not cool.

Felt a bit more confined/constricted in the 2nd area for my liking, but overall a fun map. Well done!

Fun map. Takes some patience but it is rewarding.

This is definately meant to be more challenging than the intro. I made the intro because some people want something that is short and sweet while others want something more to chew on.

That said both are exactly the same in that all solutions are at eye level. Excluding the last area which is really 2 levels combined which I tried to convey with floor transparencies etc.

However on each level, while the answer may not always be clear, hopefully the goals are, the first door, the center island, the exit etc. If that is confusing then I haven't done my job.

As for lighting I can't add any more elements. It's more light or good signage. A lot of people wanted more signage so lighting had to be sacrificed.

Thx for Testing!

I think the top room i.e. the intro was much better than the lower chamber. In the intro, you can see everything and work the problems though in your head. :)
By contrast in the lower chamber you just have to run around muddling though. The size, colure (black) and complexity of the space all contribute to making it confusing. :(

Added an Intro Map to this and made the 2 maps into a collection. Thought this might help with the length & intimidation factor of the map.
