Windows 10 seems to have more support on this game compared to Windows 8.

If still having issues on trying to get this game working, please concider the fixes below.

The way of fixing the startup issue when you get onto the game's menu is firstly startup the game and then while the game is going through intro, to then turn off your internet connection to Steam.

After doing that, once you get onto the game's main menu, it should be able to start single player story, aftering doing that, you can turn on your internet connection to Steam for getting Achievements etc.

You can also enable what is known as legacy componants feature. As shown below

I tried all these things,
doesn't crash on startup but will crash at any random time while I'm playing, and in between levels, no error message it just exits to desktop.

You need to enable legacy componants by going into remove programs and select windows features then legacy section look for

I CANT EVEN GET TO THE MAIN MENU IT WILL CRASH ON START ON WIN 10 LAST VERSION
