  • We have updated the main menu: featuring a new graphical theme
  • We have added two new game modes: Redux and Infinite
  • We have updated the size of text to deal with some very high resolution screens
  • Corrected spelling errors

Game Mode: Redux
  • We have added additional debris types to the game (Barrels, Cows, etc…)
  • We have added power ups / collectables to provide reasons to take some risks. Power ups include: score boost, clear screen, energy recharge, etc…
  • We have added new particle effects, sound effects and made additional visual improvements (such as randomly selected backgrounds 50+)

Game Mode: Infinite
Infinite removes the pre-defined 100 levels and implements an auto scaling difficulty level allowing you to keep playing until you die.

We will be recording some new in game videos soon to demonstrate the changes as well.

What we have shown.
Description
You are a victim of miss identification and sentenced to fly through space cleaning up open wormholes that threaten to destroy the galaxy. Your sentence is complete when you close 100 holes or die trying. To make things worse (yes worse than death) you are paired with a wise cracking computer that thinks you are a waste of carbon atoms. He will gladly remind you of every mistake you make.

The Holes is inspired by quarter hungry arcade games. It is hard yet with practice you may be able to defeat all 100 levels and free Stryker from his floating prison in space.

Features:
  • 100 levels of every increasing difficulty
  • PC, Mac, Linux support
  • Full support for a controller (best played with an analog thumb stick)
  • Comedic story line and voice acting

OK.. the graphics are limited but... for what the game is it really doesnt need more. Looks like a crazy adaptation of Asteroids(yes I am showing my age here). It looks fast, fun and challenging. I wouldn't play it a lot but it's a game that you would play just to chill out after rage quitting DayZ or War Thunder. Seriously, for what it is and pretends to be.. it looks great.

RE: LimpLungs

Very interesting idea. I will review this with the team and see if we can test this out. Thank you for the suggestion

You should make the holes invisible/alot less visible and use a light to find them (aka, light not being able to escape, so it would appear black)

Those voice overs are awful >.> and this isn't much more than a flash / mobile game at best to be honest.

I'm sorry, even considering that you went down a more original path than most greenlight applicants, there is really only two places where I can see this making any sense - a website with entirely free casual games, or the mobile games market.
The gameplay is extremely repetitive AND shallow, regardless of how difficult it may be.
What's the name of those little toys where you need to get two little metal pellets rolling into 2 small holes, by panning the toy around very carefully?
That's what this game reminds me of, regarding the overall feel.

@Vidise_Crimson
There are dozens if not hundreds of updated versions of Asteroids available. I'll give you a few names of the more popular ones: "Blasteroids", "Stardust", "Asteroids Hyper 64", etc.

hmm, like an updated version of Astroids... hmmm me thinks this be a worthwhile venture....
