Centauri City States

Description
This mod removes the standard city states and adds 16 new ones with names taken from Sid Mier's Alpha Centauri.

The new city states are all named after default city names of the five human factions introduced in the Alien Crossfire expansion to SMAC, but have been re-imagined as independant colonies with their own backstories described in their Civilopedia entries.

For a more complete Alpha Centauri experience I reccomend also running framedarchitecture's Alpha Centauri Civilisations mod.

Compatability Note:
The new city states are a mixture of all five types, including mercantile and religious, so you will need Gods & Kings installed for it to function correctly. This mod may conflict with any other mods that also add city states.

@Butterly sure, that's quite straightforward. Open up the folder where the mod is saved (by default in "My Documents>My Games>Sid Mier's Civilisation 5>MODS"), find the file named "Remove Existing City States.xml" in the XML subfolder, and delete it.

Great, I cant wait to try a game with the alpha centauri mods.

The first thing this mod does is block *all* other city states currently in the database, then it adds the new ones. So you won't see any vanilla city states while running this, or any that have been added by other mods (unless that mod got loaded after this mod).

Nice, but will I still get vanilla city states spawning?

Very nice! Great idea for city names.
