In Cahors Sunset you control the decisions of an old French man who was born and has always lived in the city of Cahors, France. In this game your goal is try to keep the main character alive for as long as you can through actions which are beneficial for him. However, every action has a reaction, not all choices are utterly good for your character and most of them contain unwanted side effects. The point of the game is to balance the positive and negative effects of each action and the impact they have on the health of the old man.

This looks like a really neat idea, but it's not something I'd pay money for. Sorry. =(

As my parents are living in Cahors, i've been living in there too during my whole childhood and never imagined someone would make a serious game occuring in that city. I've not tried it yet but i'm pretty curious. What is it about ? Making that old man (a game taking place in Cahors HAD to be about an old man xD) drink red wine while eating duck meat specialties ? :p

Countless click and pick games like this on newgrounds, gotg etc that cost nothing... paid releases like this confuse me, but hey good luck.

@pistouline That's awesome! I was really hoping when I was helping with the game that someone from Cahors would find this. :8bitheart:

Hey everyone, I'm Paul and I'm the script editor for the game. The script has been given a lot of polish and anyone who has it on Desura will see this new translation in v1.4.

All comments are welcome. I hear you, people who say this should be billed as an adventure game or visual novel. I'm talking to the man behind the game and we'll be cleaning the Greenlight page up a bit, and I'll be here to field questions.
