NG+ Endless Challenge 2 Guide
First off I want to say I really enjoy this game and want to thank the developers for being awesome. Anyway on with it!

I recommend you have a full roster of level 60 defenders. With this build I got to Wave 317, probably could have gotten higher but I got lazy when it came to casting spells.

Azra: Book of Plagues, Book of Synergy (With the Synergy book your Dragons won't defrost chilled units.) You get both of these books from the strange monument in the first playthrough. If you're unsure how to get them you can read Justinpcgamer's guide located here:

Berserkers

Slak: Envi+

Bleed Berserker: Blood-Feud Kopal
Bleed Berserker 2: Burning Sword
Both use the same spec.

3 Damage Dealers:
These 3 Berserkers use the same spec as Slak

Rangers

Ketta: Gilded Death

Poison Ranger: Warlord's Triumph

Chill Ranger: Relic of the North

Pierce Ranger: Captain's Warbow

Range Bow Ranger: Hunter Warrior
Damage Dealer:
Both the Range bow Ranger and the Damage dealing Ranger use the same spec.

Ice Mages
All Ice Mages use the same spec.

Wrenna: The Beast's Weapon
Chill Ice Mage: Keeper of the Flame

Knights

Markos: Commander of Legion

Stun Knight: Edge of Order

Damage Dealer: Honor's Vindication

3 Armor Breaking Knights:
All 3 use the same spec.

Healers
All healers use the same spec.

Bakal: Inspire Staff

Dragons
All dragons use the same spec.

Unit placement:

Now the goal of this build is to stun-lock all the mobs while they burn, follow the unit placement for maximum efficiency.

Once you've placed all units, there's a couple things you need to do before you start:

  • Turn off bite on Dragons.
  • Turn off group heal on Healers.
  • Make sure Bakal is the Healer in range of your Rangers to increase their damage with his inspire staff.
  • Set all of your Rangers to target fastest except for your Poison and Piercing Rangers, set those to target strongest.
  • Set Wrenna to target fastest.

The reason for having the Rangers target fastest is because worms are the only thing that slip through the stun-locked area.

Once you've done that you're ready to begin.
First off level up all of your rangers. Then slowly start leveling up units, starting with the closest to Azra. Don't worry your Rangers will destroy everything so don't worry about leveling the wrong units first. By the time there is any real threat all of your units will be upgraded (around wave 40 or so).

Once all of your units are upgraded its time to start using your spells. As soon as they are off of cooldown make sure you use them right away. Don't bother with lightning or heal. I find it much easier and less laggy if you pause the game right before you use knockback, fire, or fury. Its also easier to scout out the best placement for a crystal bomb. That's it, you're on your way to wave 300+, have fun!

Also some of your units will die, be sure to replace them ASAP so keep an eye out. Put them in the same spot they died.

Here's a quick video on what the build can do:

When you select a hero you should have a list of their attacks on the bottom right as well as their cooldown, just right click the ones you want to disable.

Thanks and how to turn those skills off?

It's been a really long time since I played but iirc dragons bite animation will delay them from shockwaving more. As bite does practically nothing late game you don't need it. Same with healing, regular healing is enough and since they won't be casting aoe heal they will spend more time casting blind.

Why do you recommend turning particular skills off and, better yet, how to even do that?

Great guide. I might try it if I ever replay the game with generic recruits. Seems fun. Nice idea on the stunlock there. At the moment though, I'm only interested in making 100 waves in this, without any generic recruits ofc, hero++ mode. The build for such a task would be very interesting.
