An action game where players fight weird monsters that keep on claiming they're part of an operating system.

With 9 worlds to conquer and over 40 levels to discover, SWR JST DX: Selective Memory Erase Effect is inspired by classic console titles, books and movies too numerous to mention, delivered in authentic 256*256 resolution in 256 colors and designed for practice-to-improve style of playing. Other features include: a unique plush model / pixelart integration, great level variety and joypad and keyboard support.

* no microtransactions or ingame purchases, absolutely nothing of that kind
* no DRM whatsoever (no installation required either!)
* No takedowns on Let's Plays
(Note: this game does not support saving, but there are unlimited continues which only reset ingame points.)

You can get it here:

Spanish version is also planned.

As much as I like the old school style of it and its aesthetics I just can't see myself playing this game. There's a reason why old games evolved into what they are now... Cool looking just not innovative.

Also, purposefully limiting your audience is insulting.

You should edit the video so it goes straight to the gameplay. I at first thought this one a visual novel of sorts. Good luck.

I love the art, but that video is in desperate need of music and editing. I'm sure its early footage, but the game comes across as overly straightforward and boring. The gifs look good.

looks cool great artwork, aspect ratio a bit strange but I'm assuming you want it to mimic old school arcade games. No save tho...bit harsh i know where your heading with it just like shinobi or raiden but no.... save..... aaahhhhhhhhhh........
