Release date: Q4 2015 - Alpha available now

Join us on a mindbending trip to a world that no one has ever seen before. Discover truth and beauty in a place that follows its own rules. Live an alien existence full of meaning and surprises. You are NOWHERE. You are NOW-HERE.

Still in early alpha stage, NOWHERE aims to be a holistic first person experience set within a mystic cosmos, focusing on emergent player-driven storytelling, strong social AI and high replayability through the use of procedural content, combining gameplay elements of exploration, survival, strategy, communication and adventure.

Our story arc aims to explore human topics such as family, science, religion, politics, culture and history as well as shed light on existential themes such as fate, choice and free will, seen through the unfamiliar lens of individuals in a post humanist, post singularian alien society.

NOWHERE was born out of the desire to make sense of the human condition through the pursuit of new experiences. We believe that games can relate wisdom; we are convinced that playing games can lead to new perspectives and better life decisions in a fun way. With NOWHERE we aim to contribute to this line of thought.

This looks fantastic but I haven't really seen any gameplay that makes coherent sense. And I agree that the price-point is....a bit high. Particularly since there's nothing but concept art and a (very well-made) pitch video...along with some gameplay that is......abstract to insanity.

This looks strange but may be interesting

I have been following the progress of Nowhere for a few years now. I can tell you for sure that in all that time nothing has come of it. Please don't allow more unfinished apps on steam then there already is. Q4 2015. We'll see. But don't hold your breath.

wow, what a fantastic existential exploration! Im curious as to what and who the nowherians are, and I imagine that the depth of the game is mirrored in the player. As such, there seems to be a good chance for this to be a flop/not for me, but at the same time reward only comes with risk. The creators are trying to test the conventions of gaming... imho, it seems worth the risk. All this is judgement of a book by its cover, granted, but it takes RPG's and their 'create your own adventure' story and turns it into more of a 'create your own history' story. Purely innovative, if not overly ambitious. Get it on Steam Early Access and you can have my money!!

i think you might want to explain what the game is supposed to be a little more.
after reading descriptions, watching a video or two and looking at some screenshots, i still don't really know what this game is.

it looks interesting, but i don't really know where this is going.
i see a lot of different features and concepts talked about, but how will that actually work?

idunno. it's an abstract game, and perhaps it's abstract enough to be obscure at this point.
all i'm saying is that it could be so out there from the norm that it's hard to grasp what the end product might actually be.

i'll still keep an eye on Nowhere though.

The most conceptually gigantic game I have seen in a long time
