Important General Notice
##############################################
I cannot guarrantee Steam Workshop will always get updates to my mods. Especially when its service becomes very poor and buggy and it refuses to accept my uploads. Which can go on for months sometimes.

The latest versions of my mods are ALWAYS in the Elder scrolls section of the site linked below and you can install them over steam versions and visa versa safely.

My mods are only available from my website and Steam workshop, you will not find them on Nexus, nor will you see any mention of them on Bethesdas forum because I mod for fun and having made mods for those communities in the past. I know its not possible for me to enjoy modding and share my work if I do support those communities.

Also since forums tend to be troll fests these days, I have closed mine and now use Facebook and my own websites comment functions to communicate with users. Here is the facebook group I run. Your welcome to join me and my users there.

Full Online Documentation
Steam does not allow all of the docs to be posted here and corrupts links to them when I try and post those. Nice ay... so just go to this site and find the Skyrim download area and look at the description in there for this mod for the full docs.

Introduction
The Wizards of Winterhold mod attempts to deal with the lack of support in Skyrim for mages. It greatly expands the college, adds a series of quests to the college and lots of new spells. It also breaks away from the FIRE/SHOCK/FROST/Resurrect = all the magic there is culture of Skyrim and tries to expand the options available to Mages in the game without going too far away from the TES Lore.

This mod by its very nature cannot be considered a lore mod because the lore for the College is very thin on the ground, but this mod does its best to fix that little problem in a lore friendly way.

This is a massive upgrade to the College of Winterhold, adding training facilities which are oddly lacking in the default college and a number of other things, including the Dark Roads, a series of Dwemer roads now pitch black and mostly ruined for you to explore and use to learn about Dwemer Culture in the process.

The mod also adds lots of new merchants that are of special interest to Mages.

There are 2 versions of this mod available.

The other version supports the Skyrim Legendary Edition and all the Bethesda DLCs. This version does not require the Skyrim Legendary Edition/DLCs but is no longer being developed.

Players with the DLCs should look out for the TEG Wizards Of Winterhold DLC Version, which is the version I will be working on from now on.

I am currently working on a Morag Tong Addition to my House Redoran Mod which is being renamed to TEG Solstheim in the next release and will require all the DLCs. But my idea for Winterhold involved adding more features towns are supposed to have so it becomes more useful and using the mountains as a building area as well as replacing the burned out buildings. But Tree Lods are an issue, I cannot move the trees because the lods still show.

Honestly, that would be amazing.

Ash: I have considered one but not as part of this mod. I have plan for one in my head right now that may see the light of day one day.

Have you considered expanding this to become a "Rebuild Winterhold" like mod? I ask because you are pretty good (I have followed your mods since Oblivion) and the current people trying to do a Rebuild Winterhold-like mod, have quit working on both of them.

Excellent work, as always

John, that is the quest, it slowly boosts your mage. Anyway, I think I have been your personal walkthrough for long enough, time to figure it out your self mate. Good luck

John: Unlimited, they can boost your mages powers a tiny bit at a time, depending on whether you go for dark or light, your power will either been extreme but not balanced, or ballanced but not extreme.
