Time Out

This is a progression but not a simple one.

I put an Easter egg in there but most players will not see it during the normal game. You must look for it if you want to see it.

There's a simple laser problem but don't despair. I'm going to tell you how to solve it. Nearly all laser problems require you to place two portals first then direct the laser back through the first one in such a way that all relays are activated. See there, I told you how to solve this one very easily. (No thanks necessary)

Sorry about the funnel rides that you'll be doing. Maybe you could get up and get a sandwich while you wait. I did everyting I could think of to speed up the gameplay.

As always, please leave a comment so I can discover my shortcomings and try to fix them. Also, leave me a link to one of your maps and I'll put it in my queue.

Most important, have fun.

Thanks guys for playing.
daloboy I enjoyed watching your gameplay. Too bad you missed the fizzler going off. You did great anyway.

this map says your mind is fine.
but I do try to do something unusual in mine, if I can.
so that might be throwing you some.
but I find it hard to judge the difficulty in my own maps.
due to already knowing the solution.
any problems, I will be glad to help.

Thank you mood3rd. I will take a look at the signage. I have subbed your map. My queue is full of maps I'm struggling to finish but as soon as yours surfaces I'll be in there. I think one or two of them are yours. You've gotten harder with your puzzles. Or maybe my mind is wasting away??? See ya round the workshop.

very good map / puzzle :)
thankyou for the laser puzzle hint.
it flowed well, untill I put a cube on the 1st button, up top.
then I had to stop & think.
I even resorted to looking at the signage.
but as is unavoidable in peti.
their was duplicated signage.
also the sphere button signage, I did not see at for a while.
when looking at the cube button, next to it.
the signage was on the floor level.
but the sphere signage was down the side.
maybe move the sphere signage up to floor level, using light strips, to re-position them.
very good logical puzzle.
almost lost my cube in the funel.
but your grating saved it :)
good catch :)
(not good, but one of your best)
thumbs up.
I have a new map with similar signage issues.
so some connections are in the description.
it will test your 4th dimentional thinking :)
present-ing the future of testing

Thanks guys for taking time to leave good comments. I don't know how I'm doing without them and thats why I build. To entertain. You know I run into a map from time to time that I don't care for. If it's someone that I've played and enjoyed before and I see from the comments that others like it, then I just chalk it up to my tastes being different. I don't usually downgrade it. I see from the stats that this one has no down votes yet so I thank you for that also.

Deceptively easy at first, but quite challenging at its core, and rewarding upon the finish. I had a lot of fun with this, I admired the general stage-like layout of the map, the nonlinearity of the design and the complexity of the upper tier. I must admit, it took me a good hour or so to find the reflective cube room--my fault. If it's one suggestion I have, could you move the portalable surface in the middle upper-tier square a space further away from the fizzler? I had some unfortunate encounters with that. Otherwise, good job!
