Description
[WARNING! this mod may be considered a cheat by some. The summons included are very powerful and summoning enough of them can overpower near anything the game can throw at you. If you are looking for something more balanced try the standard edition of this mod]

This is my first mod on the steam workshop, along with the standard edition of this mod. After countless hours of searching for a well designed mod that adds conjurable dwemer automatons, all I could find were overly scripted, overly complicated mods that usually add a bunch of other lore breaking summons or unwanted messy perk changes that conflict with all my other mods, so I decided to take matters into my own hands. After a few weeks of messing around with the creation kit, I decided to upload a public friendly verson of the mod I made that I've been having alot of fun with for dwemer automaton lovers like myself, so on to what this mod adds:

Automaton Summoning

This mod adds three new spells to summon Dwarven Spiders, Spheres and Centurions. All three summons last 60 seconds and benefit from Twin Souls (renamed Myriad Souls and increases summon limit to 15). The automatons are extremely powerful already and don't need to scale off Elemenal Potency. All three spell tomes can also be found within Kagrumez. The acquisition rate of the spell tomes is gated behind each of the three trial rooms, with the first tome (spider) being accessible right away. For the aspiring dwemer conjurer with low mana I've also added---

Craftable Summoning Staves

Three craftable staves have been added to the staff crafting table in Tel Mithryn. The automations summoned by the staves are just as powerful as the original spells and last just as long. To craft the staves you first need to gain access to the staff crafting table by completing the Reluctant Steward quest chain from Neloth. Once you have access to the crafting table you need to craft the blank staff from any forge, the blank staff requires the Dwarven Smithing perk to craft and appears in the dwarven section of the crafting window. Your last reqirement is to learn the spells from Kagrumez in order to craft the corresponding staff.

Automaton Resistance Tweak

All automatons are now immune to fire, their additional immunity to poison/disease and resistance to magic (25%) remains unchanged but they now have a 50% weakness to frost damage, keeping them more in line with their lore. I've seen a few mods that do this but they rarely do anything else, so for the sake of keeping out clutter I've included the tweak in this mod.

Kagrumez Automaton Follower Buff
---------------------------------------------------
The Steadfast Dwarven Spider/Sphere has been buffed to be as strong as their corresponding summon and are marked essential. (if for some reason they die, they are also marked to respawn and should respawn where you innitialy found them in Kagrumez after a few days)

Dwarven Spider Death Explosion
---------------------------------------------------
This is a small tweak but I altered the dwarven spider race to no longer explode on death. I found the explosion to serve no purpose as it did little to no damage at any level or difficulty and it scattered nearby items (sometimes important ones) all over the room. It also posed an extra problem with the spider summon, it would sometimes anger followers/npcs and kill small animals like chickens (lol.) Hopefully nobody will miss it, I know I don't

Incompatibilities
---------------------------------------------------
-The legendary edition of this mod, only choose one
-Mods that alter the Twin souls perk and mods that alter the dwarven automaton races, AI and resistances*

*this is not 100% true, depending on what change you want to take priority, just load this mod before or after your other Twin Souls changing mods (load this one before other mods to negate its changes or after to overwrite the other mods changes)

Aetherium Armor and Weapons Compilation from the Skyrim Nexus. I highly reccomend it, it's and amazing mod if you like dwemer stuff.

Thank you! Glad to see my mods are growing in popularity. In reguards to your request to remove the expansion requirements, the mod uses assets from both expansions, as far as I know I would have to remake the mod from the ground up to fix this requirement as I have tried copying the mod without expansion assets but to no avail. If this becomes a popular enough mod/issue I'll take another look into getting a vanilla friendly verson out.
