How to get Motion Blur Effect using the Ingame Screenshot Render Engine
In this guide I will explain you how to get motion blur effect for your screenshots. No knowledge about the replay editor required, I will explain everything.
Step 1
To do a good screenshot, you have to use the ingame replay editor. To open it, go to Editors→Replay Editor. The game will prompt you to select a replay.

Just choose one. A popup window will open. There you have to select "Advanced Editor"
Step 2
You are now in the replay editor. Now you have to move the timeline (the red line on the bottom) to the spot where you want to take the screenshot. You can later edit the camera angle if you want.

If you don't want to edit the cameras angle, skip this step.
Click on the red track where the timeline is pointing in. This is the active camera track. To move the camera, you have to click on the small icon on the right (the arrow). Now you can edit the cameras angle by holding down the right mouse button and moving the mouse. The left arrow moves the camera to the left and the right arrow to the right. With the up arrow, you move the camera forward and with the down arrow backward. If you hold Alt+RMB and move the mouse, you can tilt the camera. The mouse wheel does not move the camera, it adjustes the lens to wide-angle or telescope lens.

Now you have the camera on the position you like you like. You have to adjust some options in the grey box on the right. The options are the following:
  • Anchor - Rotation: No
  • Anchor - View: Yes
  • Target Object: None
  • Anchor: Local Player
  • Interpolation: None
Step 3
You are nearly done. Now you just need to render the screen. To do so, simply click on the small png icon on the top of the screen. A window will open. There you have to set the options to the following:

  • Width+Height can stay how they are
  • File Format: JPG
  • Sharpen: Yes
  • 3D-Stereo: No (It renders the screen as a Red-Green version for 3D glasses)
  • Player-Labels: No
  • Anti-Aliasing: 196*
  • Motion Blur: Yes
  • Duration: 0.01s
  • Depth of Field: If you want, I mostly uncheck it
  • TS-Samples: 196*
  • Rest does not matter, leave it default

Then, simply click OK. The render process can take some time, when it's done, simply click any button (e.G. the Space Bar) to save the image. You can also cancel the saving of the screenshot by pressing ESC.
Some examples of how it can look like

You can of course use Photoshop to do some post-processing. Like this:

Was explained quite well actually, but I know a fair bit about replay mode (I couldn't figure out the motion blur tho xD) This will help my future Trackmania videos look much better, thanks +Rep.
