Video Update: Firestorm
Video Update #26
Description
Release date: Late 2014
Paragon Evolved is a fast-paced sci-fi FPS which combines the speed and intensity of older shooters with the tactics and strategy of modern ones. Immerse yourself in a challenging story-driven campaign mode, or simply enter the wave-based combat mode to quickly enter a pitched firefight against intelligent AI!

CUSTOMIZE YOUR ARSENAL
-Radically change the effect of your weapons with Paragon Evolved's attachment and upgrade system. Your assault rifle could be flinging grenades or launching rockets at your enemies, and your Anti-Material Rifle may be able to slow down time itself.

EXPLOSIVE SECONDARY FIRE MODES
-Blow your enemies away with devastating secondary fire modes! Whether it's a missile which dives down on your enemies like a bird of prey, or simply a massive shock-wave emanating from your gun barrel, these are sure to give you the upper hand!

INTELLIGENT AND LETHAL ENEMIES
-Actually challenge yourself for a change and face off against 18 (and counting!) different types of enemies, ranging from invisible androids to hulking bipedal tanks!

MULTIPLATFORM
-Paragon Evolved will be available on Mac, Linux, and Windows!

OLD-SCHOOL MODE
-Want to tilt the gameplay scales more towards older FPS's? Enable old-school mode to eliminate Aim-Down-Sights, sprinting, and increase hip-fire accuracy and movement speed!

If this seems good to you, then be sure to vote YES!

Thanks for the feedback on the trailer; we'll look into that.

Well I will vote "Yes" for now, but I will probably wait later for a sale to buy, depending on the price. I think my hesitation is cause the trailer is really dark I can't even tell what's going on. XD

Maybe take a look into that if you can get a newer one up or something.

Honestly, it's just *really* fun to pull off successfully.

I actually wanted to make the player do a flip every time they dodge-dashed, but doing a complete flip in a fifth of a second gets really nauseating, lol. Now it's just one of the different sword techniques you can preform.

What would backflips acomplish in first person? XD

@KageNinjaMC

It's fast paced, focused on single player, generally more difficult, and has weapon customization that radically changes the way the weapon works, rather than just +5% reload time (E.G. You can modify your sniper to shoot homing missiles).

There's also backflips.

What makes this different from other Si-Fi FPS? Escpecially the free ones.

@KageNinjaMC

Right now we're looking at somewhere in the lower end of the $10-$20 range.

What do you think the price will be after release?

@MinimanTheFirst

That could be an option.

I saw the post on there being a multiplayer prototype. Why not have an option where other people can join via Hamachi instead of having all out servers?
