Livestreamed Playtest!
Release date: March 2014
Throw Trucks With Your Mind gives you telekinetic superpowers controlled with your actual thoughts! Using the NeuroSky MindWave headset, you can use eight different abilities to engage in psychic battles with your friends and enemies over the internet.

The game uses standard first person shooter controls for movement, aiming, and power selection, but the strength of your telekinesis depends on staying more calm and focused than your opponents.

Throw Trucks With Your Mind is an arena-based first-person thinker with a focus on team-based multiplayer combat. At launch, the game will include the game modes Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch, Capture The Fridge (our peculiar variant on Capture The Flag), King Of The Hill, and Hunt The Hunters, where you and any number of your friends fight a team of computer-controlled bots equipped with guns instead of psychic powers. The game will support multiplayer of up to 32 players.

This game requires the Neurosky Mindwave headset in order to play.

While the idea of the concept of first-person shooters is already common and been done to death for who knows how long, a mind-controlled headset was never really brought up and was strictly impossible.

Until now...

You see, like most people, I am highly skeptic of this game. On the one side of the hand, this could be a fun first-person shooter.

On the other side of the said hand, the mind controlled headset may or may not bring a revolution to the gaming industry.

While it is true that there are other headsets like Facebook's Oculus VR or even Sony's Project Morpheus, but it could be that this game will give us an early head start on what may be a new generation that will forever changes the outcome of gaming as we speak...even though it's just but a first-person shooter.

So overall, I am in a mixed bag with this title. Hence meaning that I'm not so sure if I could buy it or not.

Only the rite of time can tell, I suppose...

Hi guys! I addressed some of your questions on our Developer Team Q&A discussion thread. A couple quick things here though!

1. Thank you so much for the support! Every time we demo, I'm repeatedly asked if we're on Steam yet. We can only get through Greenlight with your help, so if you'd like to see us on Steam, please vote yes and share the campaign with your friends!

2. As a reminder, Throw Trucks isn't just a "move objects around" game. The headset is a key element of the gameplay! It is unfortunately the sort of thing you need to try to fully understand, so we'll try to keep you guys up to date about conventions or other events where we'll be running demos. :) If you have the game, make all your friends play so they can see what it's about!

Thanks again, everyone!

This looks great but I hope character customisation is a possibility. Either way I'll be keeping an eye on this one

I played this at the 2014 Neurogaming conference in San Francisco it was alot of fun. A mobile version would be totally cool as I have a mindwave mobile. Oculus Rift integration would be cool too.

DUDE! I really liked it.

Toss this with some interesting narrative gameplay and BAM! A good game!

Played this at GaymerX in SF last weekend. It's fantastic! I felt like I had super powers. If this becomes popular enough, the multiplayer duels will be amazing.
