We're now on Steam!
Let's get started
Description
Release date: Now on Steam!
Summer is here!

In a world where humans and youkai coexist, the young shrine maidens, now sophomores, Kaede, Sanae and Yuu continue their adventures fighting against mischievous youkai in this fully voiced action rhythm game.

Miko Gakkou: Second Year is a fully voiced action rhythm game. All voices are in Japanese, and all texts can be set to be displayed in English.

The PC version of this game originally went on sale in Japan on August 2013, at Comic Market 84. The Steam version of this game has been greenlit, and we are now working as fast as we can to get the game released. Stay tuned.

Additionally, you can get a copy of this game for the PlayStation Vita and select Android devices, via PlayStation Mobile[p0.dl.playstation.net].

An iOS version is available at the App Store[itunes.apple.com] now! Get your copy and let's mikomiko today!

We are currently working to get this title available digitally on Steam, but if you wish for a physical copy, you may place an order at our order form[xinoro.net], or buy it in doujin fairs in Japan (if you're in Japan, you may want to look at the event schedule[xinoro.net]).

Frequently Asked Questions:

Q: Is this a bullet-hell shooter game?
A: Miko Gakkou: Second Year is a rhythm bullet dodging game. The game consists of dodging bullets to the rhythm of songs. There is no shooting involved, and there are different strategies for playing. As so we believe this is neither a shooter not a rhythm game, but a "rhythm bullet dodging" game.

Q: Can I play to my own songs?
A: Each of the stages in Miko Gakkou: Second Year has been carefully hand crafted and extensively tested to offer a fun and challenging, yet balanced experience that caters to several playing styles, while staying true to the narrative of the game. Because of this, Miko Gakkou: Second Year can only be played with the bundled songs.

Q: Is the trailer song inside the game?
A: Yes. The song is called "Ride On", and it is the song for the fifth stage.

Q: Can I play this game now?
A: Yes. You can download the demo here[xinoro.net]. The iOS version is available on the App Store[itunes.apple.com] too, and if you have a PlayStation Vita or a PlayStation Certified[www.playstation.com] Android device, and you live in a supported country, visit the PlayStation Mobile section of the PlayStation Store. You can find Miko Gakkou: Second Year under the "Action" section. Notice that due to several limitations of the PlayStation Mobile platform, the PC version has much more graphical detail than the PlayStation Mobile version.

Q: Do you have a playable PC demo?
A: Yes! Download it here[xinoro.net]!

Q: "Second Year"? Is this a sequel?
A: Yes. In fact, this is the third game in the "Miko Gakkou" series! Depending on how this game does on Steam, we may consider releasing the other games as well future games. Please vote for this game!

Q: "Future games"?
A: Yes. The next game in the series will be "Miko Gakkou Monogatari: Kaede Episode". We expect to release it this fall. We have other games planned after that one as well.

Q: What do you make your games in?
A: We are proud to say that all of our games run in our own custom game engines. This game runs in our third-generation rhythm game specialized engine "Chitose".

Q: Is this a Touhou, or Touhou-based game?
A: No.

Q: Who are you guys?
A: We are a group of people who make games in our free time. Some of us are students, others have jobs. We make games not for money, but because we love shrine maidens and because we love games. In a sense, making shrine maiden games is like a dream come true! We hope we can share our love for shrine maidens with the rest of the world.
