Ever wondered how certain companies come up with their logos, and for some reason never know the names of the models used on them?
Find out how it REALLY works in a thrilling animated video "Corporate Secrets".
[Spoilers ahead! Read after watching!]
First of all I'd like to credit two amazing item makers for TF2:
Doober -- who sent and allowed me to use one of the hats he made which is still in the workshop:http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=180700534
heinous -- who sent and allowed me to use his Honcho Set, which makes Heavy look like Gabe Newell A LOT:http://steamcommunity.com/workshop/filedetails/?id=156066383
And I'd like to mention user Nighty-stock for providing with free stock images, one of which I used for the cracked camera lens effect. You can find her deviantART page here (all of the images are free to use):http://nighty-stock.deviantart.com/
Special thanks to my friend Rulezz who came up with the idea of the video a couple of years ago, as he saw Valve logo while being high. (I actually have the moment recorded from Skype, but I won't post it, sorry)
Also, my new friend Nastya deserves a mention, as she accompanied me in Skype during the animation process through those long, sleepless nights and inspiring me along the way.
Now as for the video -- I wanted to make it for a while and finally it's here. I hope it's a funny... Because I can't tell -- I worked too much on it.
Hope you liked all the cameos, as always they're there for a reason, which will be revealed in the future videos. So this is actually in canon with Once Upon a Time in 2fort series. The dramatic videos are coming sometime in the future. I have a lot of ideas, and no time to animate them. Hopefully in the future I'll have more time to animate. Hell, maybe the new Kinect 2 technology will make the motion capture more affordable than professional ones (prices range from 30 000$ and up, seriously?!), and maybe it will have a much cleaner output then the first Kinect. I'll keep my eye out for things like that, because it will make a video making process 90% faster.
Also, if you wonder who that is, sitting next to Gabe Newell (btw sorry I didn't add a beard for him, I couldn't find any that would resemble his real beard) -- that's Robin Walker. Valve portrayed him like this in one of their comics. And since this is a TF2 video -- I decided to add him as well.
I wanted to add other Valve employees but I couldn't find a way to represent them in a recognizable way, without mixing them up with TF2 characters too much. Sorry guys.
Anyway, hope you like the video... Enjoy!
P.S. Oh and I hid a Saxxy in the video, as always. Try and find it!"
