Description
Release date: Early Access moved to end of the Year
Graywalkers: Purgatory is the first in a series of Emergent, Strategic, and Tactical Turn-based 3D Role-Playing Games set in a stylish supernatural post-apocalyptic world, where parts of Heaven, Hell and Earth have merged together in an event called "The Rupture".

The game is inspired by a combination of features from classic XCom, Jagged Alliance, and Fallout, then mixed in with the Emergent Strategy features of Mount & Blade. Together, this creates a unique RPG experience that is Graywalkers: Purgatory.

In this game, you play the prophesied leader of the Graywalkers, 36 Hidden Ones who walk the line between the darkness and the light. It is your task to gather them all, unite the chaotic lands of Purgatory under one banner, and lead the war to reclaim the world for humanity.

The game is in the pre-alpha stage, and was successfully funded on Kickstarter. You can still pledge to help, to receive a Steam key upon release, along with cool bonuses: http://graywalkers.com/Pledge-Now.html

Thank you for the kind words and support. We truly appreciate it. It is you guys who are in part why we are very passionate about this project. It's been a difficult road so far but the overwhelming support and reviews from many people has given us the strength not only to endure, but also to become better.

Any feature that involves AP will definitely be studied carefully. You're right that potential abuse of that mechanic could happen. Still, it has its merits in which it could be done in a very limited degree maybe. Something like a "morale booster" providing a few extra APs to the receiver as long as the character has that specific special ability.

I would like to extend my sincerest wishes of luck to the developers of Graywalkers! It's always great to see such passion from a development team!

Hi there! Well, one thing that sets it apart is that the world is different. The Graywalkers world is a modern day supernatural post-apocalyptic world which is pretty rare. Also, the gameplay is pretty unique in the sense that the combination of strategic and tactical features present a new experience not commonly seen in other games in its class. The biggest thing that would set us apart i think would be the emergent and dynamic way the world will change as you play it.

Personally I do not like James' idea, because it could lead to one fast character sitting in the corner, which will grant AP to remaining characters stronger teammates. If it would be implemented, then there should be "off" switch .

what would set this apart from wow?

@James
Well, that's something we can consider and see if it works. It is doable, the only question would be is if it would be balanced or not. It is definitely an interesting idea though.

that someone who is close to the demon still would be allowed the remaining action points**
