Description
======Description======

Ever wish you could go questing in regular clothes, but still have the protection that armor offers? If so, this mod is for you.

This mod duplicates all the articles of clothing (without replacing any of them), and gives them the stats of Dragonscale armor. Not only that, but it also reduces the weight and increases the value.

======How it works======

So to use this mod, you need to have the clothes you want to make and a soul gem in your inventory. If you have the dragon smithing perk unlocked, you can then head over to a tanning rack and create your item.

If you don't have the clothes you want, don't worry! I've put a chest in-game that has all the clothes that would be needed to turn them into mythical clothes. The chest is located just north of Redoran's Retreat. You could also go to The Radiant Raiment in Solitude and buy the clothes there.

You could also find Mythical Clothes as random loot. This way if you're not a smith, you can just go out looking for your next piece of armor. You start finding the clothes around level 50 and you will find more and more as you rise in level.

If you can't find the soul gems, you should go check out this mod which increases the number of soul gems that court wizards and general goods stores sell by fourfold. It also increases the number of soul gems in random loot by threefold. This includes loot found on bandits.

======Requirments======

For this mod to work at all, you need Dawnguard and Dragonborn (and Skyrim, of course).

If you don't have any of the DLC, go subscribe to the Vanilla Edition

The Heavy Armor edition can be found here.

Are you saying you want clothes that aren't quite as strong as dragonbone, but still have a armor rating?
jeffreybaum2000 Jun 29 @ 6:04pm

If you don't want the stats, why don't you just use the default armor?
jeffreybaum2000 Jun 29 @ 5:38pm

Alright.

@Dragontamer39: No, I just chose not to add them. There are dozens of mods on the workshop that improve circlets. However, if you ask nicely, I'll add them to this mod.
