Cortona - Bomb/Defuse

This is a competitive edit of my map de_cortona_pro (released April 2013) focusing on fast 5vs5 competitive play with guidance, directions and feedback of Sal "Volcano" Garozzo (http://www.garozzo.net/).

The map is based on several old and historical towns in Tuscany, northern Italy (Cortona, Monteriggioni, San Gimignano, Montepulciano, Montalcino, Pistoia and Siena), and features many authentic aspects from these towns such as monuments, buildings, etc.

The competitive tweaks were geared towards streamlining and balancing gameplay and chokepoints, eliminating blind/peeking spots and ensuring better visibility and player readability.

Some tweaks were structural (removing paths from mid to laterals, slightly redesigning both bomb sites, widening critical paths, closing off doors/windows, moving stairs' locations, adding building extensions, etc.), others were cosmetic (removing foliage at player height, closing visual gaps in critical spots to avoid unfair peeking, changing some textures for better readability/definition, etc.).

Volcano's suggestions and feedback have been an eye opener on how to look at the design from a competitive perspective and I take this opportunity to thank him again for being greatly helpful and supportive, and for taking his time to playtest and brainstorm the map/edits both solo and with me.

The map has:
- 64 spawn points (32 vs. 32)
- Static loading screen & 2 radars (grayscale/colored)
- Kv file (GIGN vs Separatists)
- 3D skybox (includes actual Tuscan landscape)
- Particles & Soundscapes
- custom textures
- HDR with tonemap control and color correction
- Manually-tuned Nav file with place names
