We're Greenlit!
The game began with a quote, and our philosophy on design needed to follow it.
Release date: Early 2015
[code] is a game of exploration and puzzle solving where the player takes on the role of our hero, the @ symbol. They travel from level to level solving puzzles by using logic and computer science principles that they have learned. The evil garbage collector sends its minions to try to stop @ from thwarting his evil plans while he ravages the World of Code and free up its memory. All of this takes place in actual code and allows players to experience a drastically different side of games.

[code] was an IndieCade 2013 finalist.

"[code] is an experimental game [and] was probably my favorite discovery at the IndieCade conference"
- Hayden Dingman, Tech Hive/PC World

"This is the first game I played yesterday [at IndieCade], and it was probably the one that I left going 'that was probably the coolest thing I played...'"
- Joshua David Anderson, Extra Damage

"The ingenious puzzle game was a surprise hit amongst the IndieCade crowd..."
- Will Federman, Neon Tommy

"Some fave game discoveries [at IndieCade] 2013 include [code]..."

Unique Features:
  • No previous programming knowledge required - players will learn basic computer science principles and logic by playing
  • Continually ramping up difficulty - yet gentle learning curve
  • Original mechanic allowing players to directly influence the code
  • 64 levels
  • Unlock new abilities along the way
  • Unique soundtrack that will come with the game
