Description
**** REQUIRES DAWNGUARD (OR SKYRIM LEGENDARY EDITION) ****

Resplendent features five new racials and tweaked stats for each race, giving each race a unique and thematic playstyle, without shoehorning the race into specific builds or classes. The racials are designed to enable tactical play and counterplay, but beware, NPCs also get them!

NOTICE
You CAN apply the mod to an existing save, but Skyrim might not always like to see you replace racials on the fly. See Questions below.

----------
Other features
----------

Each race has its own unique quest associated with it. Just use your other racials until you see the quest pop up. Complete its requirements to unlock your second racial power!

NPCs use these racials too, including racial powers, with a few exceptions (for technical reasons). NPC Bosmer also get their own unique Forestwalk ability to compensate for the lack of a Bosmer combat power.

Everything is highly configurable in the MCM Resplendent menu. If you don't have SkyUI, see the Readme on the Skyrim Nexus for a list of variables which you can modify with the console.

----------
Questions
----------

I get the wrong racials!
----------
Skyrim has issues replacing racials in existing savegames, and may give you incorrect racials. This is one of the reasons why mods that replace your racials typically tell you to roll a new character.

If your racials do not correspond to the above list, try the "Remove Non-Innate Racials" option in the Resplendent MCM menu to clear redundant racials. If you don't have SkyUI, bring up the console and type "help RXR_HelpRemoveAll" to get its hex ID in your particular installation and then type "player.addspell [this hex ID]". Whether you use the MCM menu or the console, close it after every action and wait a minute or so while the script runs.

Can I change my race?
----------
Yes. Open the console and type "player.setrace (name)Race" (eg ArgonianRace), which will change your character to the correct race but probably make a mess of your face. Then type "showracemenu" to bring up the character creation menu and get some plastic surgery. Note: changing your race in this menu will reset your level-up points (this is why we changed race manually) but you can safely change everything else.

To the people who downvoted me recently:

YES, I know, you MAY have issues when applying this to an older save.

NO, I can't do anything about it. The game doesn't like it when you swap out racials in the middle of a playthrough. Usually it goes without a hitch. Sometimes you get the wrong racials. And sometimes the proposed fix doesn't work.

Go complain at Bethesda...

I can't read anything on those tiny pictures.

Move Resplendent to just before the EEO patch in the load order, problem fixed.
Enai Siaion  [author] Aug 23 @ 9:06am
That's what I'm t...

Screw it. Screenshot of your load order plz since you seem entirely helpless.

i mean the racial power
Enai Siaion  [author] Aug 23 @ 9:03am
Not with this mod, because the incorrect power is given by another mod and I can't access it.

Get rid of that other mod then. :p
[Toxic]IceBlade Aug 20 @ 2:32pm
ok forget it
i can correct it with the option to give correct racials
but how can i remove the incorrect power
Enai Siaion  [author] Aug 20 @ 11:46am
What's that going to do? I don't know every one of the 50K mods in existence.

As I said, any mod that modifies races in some way conflicts with each other. You know what you installed.

Then again you haven't actually said what "the wrong" racials means. WHAT DO THEY LOOK LIKE.

would you mind if i send you my mod list ?
