This mod adds a new weapon artifact to the game called Blooddread that has a 30% chance to stagger the target and causes their blood to boil for 25 points of damage for 4 seconds while also absorbing 10 points of damage from the target's health.

It can be found inside the Whiterun Hall of the Dead Catacombs on top of one of the coffins.

It is temperable at a grinding wheel for 1 Ebony Ingot, 1 Briar Heart, and 1 Bleeding Cap Mushroom.

Mesh and Textures by Gizmodian.

[Update 10-18-13]: Added sword to the Whiterun Hall of the Dead Catacombs on top of one of the coffins. This is only temporary until the questline is completed.

[Update 10-25-13]: New mesh and textures.

[Update 10-31-13]:
Added additional knockback ability to Blooddread's strike.
Set weapon to Player Only.
Fixed issue with inventory image not showing correctly.

[Update 11-1-13]:
Adjusted weapon damage and weight.
Adjusted blood spray visuals
Made weapon temperable at a grinding stone with an Ebony Ingot, a Briar Heart, and a Bleeding Crown Mushroom provided you have the Arcane Blacksmith Perk

[Update 11-8-13]:
Removed Player Only status to allow followers to wield weapon(s).
Removed ability to disenchant weapon(s) at an enchanting altar.
Corrected issue where AI would pick up weapon(s) if player was already in combat before acquiring.
Corrected issue where weapon(s) would respawn after several days.
Corrected weapon stats to be treated more as a Daedric Artifact(s) to vendors and the like rather than a normal enchanted weapon(s).

[Update 11-12-13]:
Updated visuals to be more gory
Corrected enchantment to allow 50 swings before enchantment needs to be recharged.

Updated additional spell visuals

@Demlier, I just updated this mod to remove the knockback effect and instead have a 30% chance to stagger the target due to that issue. Several have complained about it. I also buffed the damage by 5 points.

@Helljumper ADB, No. It isn't craftable. This is just a standalone mod to allow people to get a feel of the weapons. I plan to add all of this series to a larger mod in the works. It is an artifact. So, it will not be craftable.

is it craftable? if not it would be a great addition to the mod, optionally after the player obtains the sword then he/she unlocks the crafting recipe.
