Multiplayer Death Match Bunny on Bunny Action in 2.5D

NOTE: Although completely playable at this point, Bunny Bash is still considered in an early alpha state. I will post regular updates, new videos and screenshots keeping you up-to-date with the changes as we're progressing with development.

Inspired by an old DOS game called Jump 'n Bump, Bunny Bash brings bunny blood sport to modern systems. It is a quick "drop in and play" DeathMatch arena-style multi-player-only game. You control left and right movement of your bunny in 2.5D "side view" and try to jump on your enemies' head to eviscerate them in an explosion of bunny bits. Rounds are time or goal based with a score board at the end.

The game levels will vary vastly from the first cartoon-style level you see in the screenshots to outer space, where you never quite know which way is up, and more. Levels will have slippery ice regions, deadly lava, teleporters, springboards, gravity altering zones and many, many, many ways for these poor bunnies to get killed or even kill themselves. There are even realism-based settings in progress!

Multiple DeathMatch Game Modes[] are already available or are currently in development such as: Traditional PvA DeathMatch, Last Man Standing & Team Deathmatch to name a few. One of the more recent game modes added being "The Carrot", a somewhat unconventional King of the Hill style game mode in which the Carrot Holder gains extra abilities such as speed - the most well-nourished Bunny winning that round.

Bunny Bash also has pickups. Where traditional games might allow you to pick up things like health potions, Bunny Bash style pickups include: speed boosters, temporary shields and invisibility.

With an already built-in Achievements system which will be trivial to link with SteamWorks and it's related offshoots like trading cards, Bunny Bash will fit well within the Steam Community.

This is not a game to be taken seriously and if the alpha tests we've had so far are anything to go by you will be laughing quite a bit during game-play, shouting and even cursing your friends ;)

Even though I love death matches, this looks like a great start for a cute adventure/platform game for all ages...where you need to collect certain items like in the nintendo franchise (Mario, Banjo Kazooie)

I saw this and immediately thought of Jump'n'Bump. That game held my attention for hours, and it was so simple! I always hoped for a game like it. I am excited!
