I am getting funding to be able to develop this project, so I started working on other smaller games to be able to save enough money. I will also start to try to get a grant from my government, but those usually take 1 year to receive the money, so it's going to take many months before we resume development of this ambitious project.

Any news about progress?

The Lavamind games, Gazillionare Deluxe, Zapitalism, and Profitania, actually were designed to teach basic economic concepts like supply and demand, the different forms of capital, and production chains. Profitania was the most demanding of the trio, putting players in charge of an actual factory where the quality/purity of raw materials influnced the finished product. In any case, good luck as there are not enough GOOD business sims out there.

I'm going to try those games, at first sight they seem different, as this one aims to educate people to become entrepeneurs and give real life info on how to actually do it, if they want. But yes, it's going to be very simple from the begining, but's since it will be very complex we will be able to introduce small bits little by little, increasing the copmlexity in small bits, until it's very complex and different from the begining.

Looking at these pictures, I am reminded of some of Lavamind's more complicated business sims. It looks like something that will initially make my head hurt but once I figure out what everything means I should be able to do a decent job at it.
