""Sandy's Twin Adventure" by Toncica: point of getting trapped."

Instead of the track platform it could have been a laser field. If you jump blindly into the funnel to travel there the journey would have ended at the same point. It was apparent that you can't go any further. You might be relieved to hear that I changed the map in order to gratify silly actions with instant death, so don't longer have to feel "trapped".

And why should that be the player's fault and not the mapmaker's fault? If you allow players to get trapped in your maps you have no one but yourself to blame. If you think I'm not being fair, the same is true for any map/maker which allows the player to get trapped.

That barrier is supposed to keep you from entering the room, under your feet is water, you can drop and die since you ignored the barrier. Being trapped means the player got in a hopeless situation through no fault of his own, but you saw that there's no way to go further and you still hopped into the funnel.
