My Guide

Want to know how to have your OWN songs be in the game?

Also, do you want a more dramatic song put in Magic 2014?
(Lord Of The Rings Sountrack, Harry Potter Soundtrack, etc)

I'm just showing you another way most people don't know how to.

I'm not saying its' the best or easiest way... its just another option

I know the other methods
  • I have Spotify.
  • I have Youtube.
  • I have a media player.

Save your time and don't share them.

Ever get bored of the same old music MAGIC 2014 has to offer?

What if people don't have itunes, spotfify, or rhapsody?

What if people live off Youtube? Sure you can turn off the music volume in game and listen to your Youtube songs... but you'll need to go back online either by replaying it or by searching for a new song.

0:00-1:34 is me demonstrating that it works in-game.

Skip over to 1:35 for the explanation part.

Play in HD for the best quality.

Works in both Single Player and Multi-Player

Create a copy of the Original Magic 2014 Music File just in case you're not satisfied with your songs in-game.

The song will repeat after it's done.

Well in that case, just edit any songs you want to be put in the game

Oh, so it's random I guess from the chosen Alara, Zendikar... etc. mixes. 5 tracks for each name except for Kaldheim but that probably still plays. That's a lot of tracks available though for battling for a game like this, 26 tracks that could be chosen at random I think.

I'll look into that.

Hi, I was going to ask if you know what audio files play in the free-for-all singleplayer battles.

I did, I'm just sharing my opinion about other, less time consuming, methods.
Btw if you plan to do this for another game, please remember to try to use a media player instead of changing the file name of every song in the game.

Read my description please.

I've been using Winamp for ages (free media player, simple and uses very few resources) to play my music over any of my games, I'd recommend it to anyone who is looking for a decent and light media player.
Also the grooveshark method seems like an easy alternative too.
Thanks for sharing this anyway.

I do turn off in-game music only and put youtube vids from shift+scroll that opens the steam web browser and I play music from there. But thanks any ways. (:
