Description
Lusipurr's Fountain of Perpetual Disappointment is a retro comedy JRPG that is not only a respectful look back at 2D RPGs, but an attempt to tell a new kind of story within the medium. Gamers that loved Final Fantasy VI and Chrono Trigger are much older than they were when those games came out and JRPGs as a genre don't seem to be growing up with them. LFoPD wants to change that. Play as Oliver, an apparently typical reluctant hero. However, Oliver's self-sabotaging won't go without consequences in this strange game world that the eccentric and maniacal Lusipurr has created seemingly for his own sick pleasure. Delightful pixel art meets beautiful hand-drawn battle scenes in this expectation-inverting adventure that proves that a very funny game does not have to be a very happy one.

Miss the days when games were RPG Maker distributed in specialized forums and not placed to sell ... plus all the game seems to me rather poor ... I would not pay for a game I can create it :/ From an incremented al right ... Make it worth my money ...

not really seeing the point of this game? Lots of puns and bodily function stuff, has nothing to do with old time classics such as Chrono Trigger and definately nothing at all like FF VI. Making references to those games is a slap in the face to those of us who grew up with those titles. Voting NO on this one.

The gameplay style of this game kinda reminds me of Golden Sun.

I dont know why everybody hates it, I think it looks pretty decent. not award winning, mind you, but it looks good. the humor is quite good, the maps are of medium quality, and the combat is pretty rpg standard. giving it my yes vote and best of luck to the developers.
