Worst Case Scenario: The 50/50 Distributions
The following distributions create a rare 50/50 chance where two tanks match the information. Based on user observations, the following appear to both meet the requirements. There is a 50/50 chance that you will get it correct due to both of the tanks being equal. Take both, and hope your first one is right.

  • 2 Tubes, Helium, Greater Than or Equal (#3 or #6)
  • 3 Tubes, Helium, Less Than or Equal (#7 or #10)
Kudos for the info provided by Insert_Sex_Here @ Reddit and the original images on Imgur[imgur.com] by REACHGROUND.

I wrote this applet myself using basic JavaScript. Feel free to examine the source code if you wish, and attribute if you use it for your own work.

Greatest guide in PD2 since the game went out. I don't really get why people still make more guides with poor pictures of the room when we already have an animation that works perfectly fine since one year..

I assume you work backwards. As long as you don't have the 50/50 choice, you just throw all the bags but the correct one on the helicopter.

I've updated the link in the system with a direct link to my file space. The bit.ly still works, but the link was probably catch-alled for being a bit.ly. So for sharing, you can keep using bit.ly, but be advised that the actual redirect link is to http://albert-kung.com/bigoil
