Description
My eighth map.

With this I was trying to create something that isn't particularly difficult like my last map, but this time I have tried to make completing the test much less legwork for the player as I was putting it together instead of afterwards. I have made the theme around laser-redirection and using the overhead light-bridge. Once again I have set an Easter Egg in the map, but as with last time it is meant to be the only really obscure element (as well as the things linked to the easter egg) in the puzzle, I'm hoping everything required to do the test itself comes off as straightforward like it should.

Thank you for the feedback! :)

My latest three maps (1) (2) (3) should make better use of the easter eggs I have placed.
In fact I had planned on maybe changing this ones (as well as maybe a couple other ones) easter egg to make it part of an alternate, harder-to-find path. With my latest maps I have been trying to better implement easter eggs into the tests (as alternate paths that cut down the amount of time to complete the test).

Well, this was a decent map. A little bit of thinking but easy overall. I saw the easter egg by chance because I'm an explorer. This is perhaps the first easter egg I've run across that is actually functional. Nice.

Ok, made some changes, including the flip-panel you had shot too early, thanks again [Tom K] for showing this to me. Also changed those light-bridges that you had spotted, they're not meant to draw your attention too much until you have discovered the easter egg.

Ack! I forget about making the shot over edges like that >.<

Thanks for the feedback! Going to remove that flip panel you shot a portal into next to the exit. You were right, that wasn't intentional and i'm glad you found that. :)

Hello.

Cool map. Not sure if i did it intended.

Here is my blind play of your map. I hope you enjoy the video. To access your map directly, just check the description. There are multiple maps in the video. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zxvKITusQfM

Thank you for your careful observation. Now that you have mentioned this I feel my one big gripe with this very map was elements without anlines or signage that are linked to the easter egg, I didn't like the idea of players seeing these and wondering if there was something vital to the test itself they had missed. I may try to find a way to hide these elements better if it helps. Sorry about the misunderstanding and once again thank you very much for your feedback! :)

Well, I am judging by the editor image to the right of the slideshow pictures. It just looked and felt like I skipped something vital by accident.

I'm guessing the companion cube featured in the last screenshot is the part you think you're bypassing, but if that's the case the companion cube is intentionally not part of the test and meant to be beyond actually reaching the exit as an easter egg. Otherwise I'm afraid I still don't know what you actually mean.
