Progress report WEEK 09: IT IS DONE!
Progress report WEEK 08
Release date: Apr 27, 2015

The best, and most popular crane simulator is coming to steam. Built upon an incredibly advanced physics simulation, The Little Crane That Could will let you tackle a diverse set of challenges and puzzles.

Development is going well, you can follow it on my blog[]. It is currently on-course for an april 27th release.

See the screenshots of the steam development build. The game now has a state of the art 'dirt simulation' with what I have dubbed 'Dig-Anywhere' technology. Each and every scratch you make into the environment is stored to disk, and persists between levels.

The game will launch with a set of eight levels with diverse gameplay, using cranes, trucks, excavators and bulldozers.

I tried to play to it on the Shield console (Android) unsuccessfully because the game was in Portrait (did not manage to put it in Landscape). Nevertheless, I think the concept is good. What will certainly be needed to make Little Crane a successful simulation game on PC is nice graphics while keeping the 'no compromize physics' idea, a little bit like the 'Spintires' game. If the graphics is the same on mobile and on PC, people will certainly prefer it on mobile ... for free.
