Faster Followers

Description
This mod increases Chester's, Abigail's, small birds', teen birds' and even recruited pigs' run speed so now you don't have to keep stopping and waiting for them when you're running along a road.
New Version!
I completely rewrote the code from the ground up. Now EVERYTHING that follows you will get a speed boost(in theory). This includes but is not limited to: Abigail, Chester, Pigs, Rock Lobsters, and even Beefalo when you sound the horn to make them follow you. Now obviously, I can't test everything myself. That's where you come in. If you find something funky happening with your followers' movement speed, and you're completely sure it's only my mod that's doing it, report it so I can fix it.

Recent changes:
-Added a configuration menu.
-Fixed speed boosts not being applied to Chester if the eyebone goes into your backpack when you pick it up for the first time.
-Completely rewrote the code. Now EVERYTHING that follows you should move faster.
-Now recruited pigs also get a speed boost but only while they're following you.
-Increased the run speed for hopping followers, IE Chester and small birds.
-Added support for teenbirds.

What's the purpose of having the raw number increase and also the multiplicative increase? Do they behave differently?

i.e. if a Runner's base speed is 6, is Runner Speed +6 / Runner Speed Multiplier 1x produce the same effects as Runner Speed +0 / Runner Speed multiplier 2x?

And what does a negative multiplier even mean?

(I'm pretty sure that this is the reason) If you use the character Caitlin (its a mod), when transforming to one of her different forms a Terrorbeak and a Shadow Clone appear w/out sanity penalty

That's the way Chester has always moved. He's always been a hopper. It just isn't that obvious until you crank up his movement speed.

Secondly, there's a config menu. You can adjust the movement speed of hoppers seperately from the movement speed of runners/walkers.

I had a previous version of this mod that went out of date. I got this one to replace it---but it doesn't work as well as the old one. With Chester, it doesn't exactly speed him up so much as gives him a periodic huge jump to catch back up to you. This is annoying to watch in the first place and functionally useless. What it means is that there is a pause before the jump in which mobs/tentacles/fire/etc can harm him, when if he just kept up with you, he'd be able to avoid most of it.

It also means that enemies are kited along after you for MUCH longer than usual. Especially hounds are like to follow longer since they keep getting to take a chunk out of him.

Long story short, I'd rather deal with a slow follower than a bouncing, dead one.

does this also make aggressive mobs faster? I mean, will Spiders and monster run and attack me faster or it affects only friendly mob like recruited pigs?

so ...
I had a recruited pig then full moon, and he went after me with SUPER SPEED still on ...
another case happened when I killed a spider queen, another spider was heading to kill me... I looted & equipped the spider hat, then that spider became super quick, I removed the hat & the spider became aggressive again but was still moving super quick.

Not sure if it's a bug in my game or whatnot though

to make it shipwreck compatible add "shipwrecked_compatible = true" without " in Steam\steamapps\common\dont_starve\mods\workshop-179607917 modinfo.lua file. opens with notepad.
