Amulet/Necklace Displays W.I.P.

*Requires SKSE

Displays can be created at any forge with 1 Dwarven Ingot.
Displays and amulets will stay locked in place.

1. Drop the misc item from your inventory and then activate it to lock it in place.
2. Once locked in place activate a second time with a necklace or amulet equipped to place it on display.
3. To remove the amulet activate the display.
4. To place the display back in your inventory "grab" the display with the activate key.

Note: I am looking for a better model and texture if anyone would like to help. This is the best I could do using only NifSkope.

*Removed part of the script that checks for the Keyword "clothingNecklace", I believe this may have been causing issues with amulets that did not have their keywords set properly, failing to correctly recognize necklaces and amulets.

* Fixed a script error that would cause equiped necklace to become stuck when picking up the display.

Here's a walkthrough for anyone having trouble. [Part 1] I use a controller, have SKSE, Dawnguard, Hearthfire,& Dragonborn installed. LOOT determined the Load Order. At Windstat Manor home, I forged 'Amulet Displays' found under Misc from 1 Dwarven Ingot each. Took a few Displays and Amulets into Inventory. Went to the upstairs double bedroom, stood in front of the bedside End Table and dropped each Amulet Display on the bed. Picked it up by pointing to it then pressing the "Activate" button. With the Amulet Display stuck to my pointer, rotated it, then lowered it onto the End Table. To release, pressed the "Activate" button.

[Part 2] I then Equipped the chosen Amulet on my player's neck, exited Inventory, and "activated" the pointer on the wall to deselect. Then I pointed to the Amulet Display and pressed "Activate" with medium weight. It was showing "Take Amulet Display" but then vanished briefly and returned with "Activate Amulet Display" now locked to the table surface and ready to receive the jewelry. With the Amulet still equipped to my player's neck, I pointed and medium clicked the Amulet Display again and the Amulet was removed from inventory to be placed on the Amulet Display.

Brilliant! Thank you, Mentilreq. I hope you haven't given up on this mod. Definitely works for game-generated Amulets/Necklaces including Bonehawk Amulet and Unique items as well as player-smithed Un & Enchanted Necklaces. (See my profile screenshots.) I have no purely modded jewelry to trial yet.
Some enhancements I hope to see are:
Groupings. It would be more convenient to smith groups of 3, 4 and 5 to be dropped and positioned as one unit, then activate each hotspot to load each necklace, or just one in the center, like the Bone Hawk Amulet.
Alternative Textures. Red Velvet to complement the display cases, or short clipped Fur, ie Snow Bear/Fox, Black Bear, Chocolate or Blue Seal Skin, Green Blanket, ... ?
Smaller Size A shorter length option to fit inside the HF Dagger Display cases. These could be Half to TwoThirds current length and with minimal slope angle. Necklaces notch at sides near the top and drape behind or underneath the smaller display.

@mentilreq and @saunders, bryan, using SKSE is no guarantee the displays will work. I've been trying for many, many weeks now to get your mod to work and it's just not working. Perhaps it's system set up, varying OS and whanot, but for whatever reason or set of circumstnaces this mod has never worked for me. It has not worked for necklaces and/or amulets that came with Skyrim, or modmade necklaces and/or amulets or anything else either vanilla or created by others. It just flat doesn't work on my system and perhaps not yours either Bryan. I so hoped I could one day get it to finally work, but alas, I've finally given up. Perhaps one day, when I get brave enough and perhaps good enough with the CK I'll make one that works for everyone, but then, isn't that hope of all modders? LOL I gave it several go's but I've finally given up. Good luck to you Bryan and keep modding Mentilreq! Ciao! *HUGS* =D

@saunders.bryan Once you have the display where you want it, activate it ("A" button on 360 controller/ "E" on the keyboard) to lock it in place. Also make sure you are running SKSE, there is a link in the description if you need it.

@saunders.bryan Are you asking about the Display itself or the Amulet once it's placed?

Your mod is cool, but I can't get them to lock..I keep picking them up or they keep moving?
